A cold night in the Black Country ends badly for Albion as they lose their unbeaten home record.

But, as far as the visiting Preston fans are concerned, this was a Lancashire hotpot.

It's so long ago since they last won at The Hawthorns, 49 years ago, that they only earned two points for it!

Tonight it's a deserved three Preston points, Albion have missed out on a chance to get back in the top four, Ryan Lowe is cock-a-hoop and Val Ismael has some explaining to do

And I'm off home to thaw out, having not once moaned about how cold it is!!!

Chris Adams: West Brom need to sack Ismael tonight. Not tomorrow. Not after the next game. Now. Tonight. Get him gone!

Albion fans are not happy - despite still sitting fifth in the table, albeit seven points off the top two.

You don't mind getting beat but it's the manner and tonight Albion were well off the mark.

They were off the pace and didn't manage a shot on target.

It's about showing grit and fight, even if you're not playing well, and there was none.

There is a feeling of apathy rather than anger and discontent at The Hawthorns tonight. But there was one unmistakable second-half rendition of the Albion fans' favourite old Slaven Bilic chant! Worrying times for the Baggies.

Roy Wood's Wizzard were number one in the charts with 'Angel Fingers' the last time PNE won at The Hawthorns way back on 18 September 1973.

That was 2-0 too.

And North End boss Ryan Lowe wasn't even born!

Will this one end 2-0 though?

What have Albion got left in the tank now?

Having set a new club record for going 13 games unbeaten at home at the start of the season on Saturday, it doesn't look they're going to make it to 14.

That's too easy for Cameron Archer. He's headed it in from a yard out. There were three other Preston players who could have put it in as well.

Albion scored three late on against Peterborough on Saturday. Let's hope they can get at least one to try to get something out of this game.
