If the first half was anything to go by, this was coming.

Jaden Philogene-Bidace is one of a number of exciting young players at Stoke and the winger - on loan from Aston Villa - is in the right place to tap home after Lewis Baker's shot deflects into his path.

    HT: Fulham 1-0 Millwall

    Chris Peddy
    BBC Sport

Fulham are well worthy of their lead here at Craven Cottage.

Neeskens Kebano and new signing Neco Williams have been causing the Millwall defence all sorts of problems out wide and it was the latter who set up Aleksandar Mitrovic for the goal.

Millwall have had their moments but will need to up the intensity levels in the second half if they are going to get something out of this game.

    HT: Hartlepool 3-1 Barrow

    Rob Law
    BBC Radio Tees

We’ve been treated to a brilliant game with even better goals here between Hartlepool & Barrow this evening.

John Rooney stunned Pools by scoring from 45 yards out after just 17 minutes in the first half - a goal his brother would be proud of.

That was harsh on Pools who had been the better side but they didn’t let their heads drop. Two brilliant goals from outside the area by Luke Molyneux and another from Omar Bogle, his first in a Pools shirt, means that Graeme Lee’s side lead 3-1 at the break.
