    Middlesbrough 1-0 Derby

    Neil Maddison
Former Middlesbrough midfielder on BBC Radio Tees

It's great play from Isaiah Jones. He pinched the ball, looked up and put it into a danger area and the defender stretched out and it goes into the back of the net as the keeper went the other way.

Boro look really dangerous down that right-hand side.

    Blackpool 0-0 Bournemouth

Another opening for Dominic Solanke, who looks in the mood to add to his goal tally this afternoon.

Former Peterborough man Siriki Dembele finds the striker on this occasion but Blackpool are there again to get the block in.

Deadlock broken at the Riverside, and it's a painful one for the Rams' travelling contingent as Boro take the lead.

Isaiah Jones was the architect, showing perseverance to win the ball, great trickery to ease himself into position and his delivery was turned into his own net by the unwitting Lee Buchanan.

Delight for the home fans, who are letting Derby know about it.

Gassan Ahadme has scored a very early penalty to give Burton the lead at home to Cambridge.

Lincoln have gone ahead at home to Wycombe thanks to Liam Cullen's first goal for the Imps.

Elliott Lee has given Charlton the early advantage away to second-placed Wigan.

We've also had a goal apiece at the Kassam Stadium, Billy Bodin scoring for Oxford only for Declan John to equalise for Bolton a minute later.

Elsewhere, Accrington have scored an early goal at home to strugglers Crewe, courtesy of Ross Sykes.

    Reading 0-0 Coventry

Reading goalkeeper Karl Jakob Hein is called into early action as Callum O'Hare finds Viktor Gyokeres, who drives low across goal for Coventry. A smart stop from Hein keeps the score goalless.

    Hull 0-0 Fulham

First sign of Aleksandar Mitrovic's threat this afternoon, as he heads a Tom Cairney corner wide, via a deflection.

Fulham's Serbian goal-lord needs just one more to equal Ivan Toney's Championship-era best of 31 from last year.

    Some tally that isn't it?

Cairney then has a pot-shot of his own but it's over the bar.

    Steve GibsonImage source, PA Media

Plenty of talk before the game about how Derby fans might react on their trip to Teesside, given the pursuit of compensation sought by Middlesbrough owner Steve Gibson.

The two clubs have come to resolution, but there is still a bit of heat between the two sets of fans.

Boro fans have been donning Steve Gibson masks too, while the man himself is in attendance.

No real threat from either side on the pitch so far.

    Barnsley 0-0 QPR

The visitors create an early opening at struggling Barnsley, as Lyndon Dykes digs out a cross for Andre Gray.

The striker catches it on the volley but it's not powerful enough to trouble Bradley Collins in the Barnsley goal.

    Peterborough 0-0 Preston

    Early escape for Posh!

It would have been an unfortunate way to fall behind as a cross from Preston's Andrew Hughes drifts towards the back post and ends up hitting the crossbar, and out for a goal kick.

  11. Postpublished at 15:08 Greenwich Mean Time 12 February 2022

    Hull 0-0 Fulham

Hull unsurprisingly have set up to try to contain Fulham, given the free-scoring nature of the visitors' attack.

Fabio Carvalho gets away down the left for the Cottagers, but his ball in is cushioned back to Matt Ingram in the Tigers goal.

  12. Postpublished at 15:07 Greenwich Mean Time 12 February 2022

    Blackpool 0-0 Bournemouth

Bright start from Bournemouth as Dominic Solanke has an early sighter on goal, which is deflected behind for a corner off home keeper Daniel Grimshaw.

  13. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 15:04 Greenwich Mean Time 12 February 2022

    Nott'm Forest 0-0 Stoke

Forest are flying at the moment but it was almost Stoke who hit the front at the City Ground.

Ben Wilmot's ball into the box rapped the crossbar, almost catching out Brice Samba.

    Millwall 0-0 Cardiff

Steve Morison's in-form Cardiff side will look to continue their three-game winning streak in the Championship away at Millwall.

Cardiff's victories over Nottingham Forest, Barnsley and Peterborough have moved the south Wales club well clear of the relegation zone, extending the gap between them and 20th place from three points to 12.

Lions manager Gary Rowett has never lost a home game against the Bluebirds and he will be looking for a reaction from his players after their 3-0 defeat at league leaders Fulham on Tuesday.

Cardiff are winless in 15 away league matches in London and 12 of the last 17 matches between the two clubs have ended in draws.

  17. League Two game of the daypublished at 14:54 Greenwich Mean Time 12 February 2022

Port Vale v Northampton (15:00 GMT)

    Joe Thompson
Former Rochdale and Tranmere midfielder on Squad Goals

This promises to be a tight contest at Vale Park.

Port Vale start the afternoon just outside the play-offs, in eighth. They will be confident after securing their first away win in two months, with a real professional performance over struggling Carlisle.

The away side are also in a great position, sat in third. They too will be right up for today’s game, with three wins from their last four games.

Jon Brady took charge of the Cobblers a year ago this week and will be keen to keep up the momentum, particularly off the back of Fraser Horsfall’s late headed winner against promotion rivals Newport on Tuesday.

If you’re going to challenge for promotion come the end of the season then these are the tough games that you must win.

  18. League Two previewpublished at 14:52 Greenwich Mean Time 12 February 2022

Top of the table Forest Green Rovers travel to fourth-placed Sutton United as they look to extend their 10-point lead at the top of the table.

Sutton will move up to the automatic promotion places if they better Northampton Town's result away at Port Vale, who themselves are unbeaten in four league games.

Second-placed Tranmere Rovers travel to Walsall, who sacked head coach Matt Taylor this week after a run of 13 games without a win in all competitions.

  20. League One game of the daypublished at 14:50 Greenwich Mean Time 12 February 2022

    Oxford v Bolton (15:00 GMT)

    Sanny Rudravajhala
    Presenter, Squad Goals

We all laughed when Ian Evatt said his Bolton side were the best in the division. That was back in October with Wanderers knocking on the play-off door and it preceded a dramatic downturn in results and performances. But Wanderers now have taken 16 points from a possible 18 and recovered from being 18th in League One to up towards those play-off spots.

Manchester City loanee James Trafford has excelled since his arrival. He’s yet to experience defeat in his five wins, four clean sheets and an assist in his six games for Wanderers.

Oxford United, meanwhile, were disappointing in their midweek defeat at Accrington Stanley, with boss Karl Robinson complaining about Stanley’s apparent use of the dark arts.

That was their first defeat in five, after they had followed up that remarkable 7-2 win at Gillingham by holding promotion rivals Wigan to a 1-1 draw and beating Portsmouth 3-2 in their last game at the Kassam.

Matt Taylor continues to be their main goal threat with 16 in all competitions. He’s just three shy of his total from last season and if fifth-placed Oxford are going to better their play-off heartbreak of the last two seasons, it will be his goals that do it.
