Fraser Fyvie was never blessed with great pace but he leaves Chris Mueller for dead to drill in a cross for Mitch Megginson, who beats a man and hammers in a low shot that is blocked by Matt Macey at his near post.

Joe Newell floats a lovely ball over the top of the Cove defence. It's perfect for Christian Doidge to run on to but the Hibs striker takes a poor touch, hitting it against a defender.

No goals yet. Hibs have huffed and puffed but they've created a few decent chances and the big talking point is the disallowed effort from Christian Doidge.
The striker was well onside as he ran through to slot past the keeper.
Doidge headed narrowly wide and had an overhead kick saved, while Josh Doig really should have done better with a volley in front of goal.

Two great crosses in quick succession from Chris Cadden. The first is cleared with not enough Hibs players forward, the second is volleyed over by Josh Doig, via the fingertips of Kyle Gourlay.
The officials don't spot the save though.
