Blackburn couldn't get to grips with it in the first half, but they then came out fighting and took control of the game.

For all their failure to score of late, Albion have not had a goalless draw since before Christmas.

This would be Rovers' second in four games.

This game is at least better than the absolute stinker the fans endured at Luton.

Sub Reda Khadra almost makes an instant impact but Sam Johnstone blocks his fierce angled right foot shot.

Ben Brereton Diaz becomes the second Rovers man to force a save out of Sam Johnstone but he immediately goes down in pain.

Hard to see what he did - but he's clearly not happy and he's still off the pitch debating what to do next with a two-man Rovers support team.

Nick in York: Calling this now. NEITHER of these teams will make the play-offs.

First substitution of the night as Albion boss Steve Bruce brings on Grady Diangana on for Karlan Grant.

Diangana missed horribly in Bruce's first game in charge at Bramall Lane last week - and got dropped.

This is totally different from the first half for Blackburn.

The two centre-forwards have pushed up the pitch and we're seeing some good forward runs from Sam Gallagher.

Blackburn win a right-wing corner but big Dutch stopper Jan Paul van Hecke heads over from Joe Rothwell's delivery.

Rovers then go even closer from another Rothwell flag kick, as Scott Wharton's header flies even more narrowly over.

Albion win their second corner of the night but the danger is cleared.

They then get the ball into the back of the net from Matt Clarke, but the lino had long since flagged for offside.
