Great noise from both sets of fans and a really healthy following from Brighton. Sloppy start by Spurs as they give away possession cheaply which gifts Adam Lallana an early chance.

Graham Potter thinks Brighton should be able to dream of winning the FA Cup.

The Seagulls boss is no stranger to lifting domestic trophies, having won the Swedish Cup with Ostersunds in 2017.

"Winning a trophy is massive, it's huge," adds Potter. "Ultimately that's what we are all trying to do - we are all trying to win.

"Of course, silverware and trophies are important and they are more special, especially from a memories perspective. I think when you look back on your career and you have a trophy it tells you something about the journey you have been on.

"I enjoyed my trophy-winning experience in Sweden, it was special and it meant a lot to me and it meant a lot to the team and the club. Reflecting back it was a special time."

Antonio Conte has got his hands on the FA Cup in the past.

He masterminded Chelsea's 2018 triumph and said after the 1-0 win over Manchester United at Wembley: "In a difficult season like this, I showed I'm a serial winner. This is the truth. To win in this way this season gives me more satisfaction than my wins in the past."

The question is: can he deliver a trophy at Spurs?

Surely Tottenham's best signing for some time is Antonio Conte?

Spurs brought in two new signings on transfer deadline day - Rodrigo Bentancur and Dejan Kulusevski - but not all Tottenham fans are happy.

A group of around 50 supporters protested against the club's ownership and board at the start of the week.

They say that there is, and has been, a lack of investment in the playing staff, no accountability and a focus on the corporate side over the football side of Tottenham.
