  1. YELLOW CARDpublished at 46 mins

    Liverpool 0-0 Cardiff

Do Liverpool get away with another one??

Right at the start of the second half, Caoimhin Kelleher comes steaming off his line, way outside his box, getting nowhere near the ball and tripping Mark Harris.

Had the Cardiff player not been touched, Harris would have an open goal to shoot at.

It's only a yellow card for the Liverpool goalkeeper.

Senegal and Egypt meet in the Africa Cup of Nations final on Sunday, pitting two Liverpool stars up against one another.

Mohamed Salah is looking to lead the North Africans to a record-extending eighth continental triumph, while Reds team-mate Sadio Mane hopes to play a part in Senegal's first ever Nations Cup victory.

The Teranga Lions have lost both finals they have played, in 2002 and 2019, while Egypt are looking to lift the trophy for the first time since 2010.

While the spotlight will fall on two stars of the Premier League, the two sides have had contrasting paths to the final, which will be played in the Cameroonian capital Yaounde.

Viewers in the UK can watch the final on BBC Three, BBC iPlayer and the BBC Sport website and app (kick-off 19:00 GMT), with comprehensive live text coverage available online.

Cardiff have fought really hard, they are the story. They might only have had 15% of the ball but they have stayed in here and had that penalty shout as well.

It was one of those penalty shouts that could have been given. He got in front of the defender and had the right of way. If the referee had come across to look again, he would have had a big, big decision.

I've been seeing replays of the incident on loop at half-time and the more I see it, the more I feel Cardiff should have had a penalty.

The camera angle from the touchline next to the goal is the best angle, you can see Ibrahima Konate chasing back then trying to get his leg around Mark Harris.

There is clear contact, Harris is bundled over but the ref waves play on.

The huge cheers from Cardiff's fans as the half-time whistle goes tell the story of that first half.

A fine, spirited effort by the much-changed Championship side to keep Liverpool at bay despite long periods of pressure for the Reds.

Shot, cross, pass, what was it from Jordan Henderson?

We'll never know as the Liverpool skipper plonks the ball out for a goal kick.

Henderson looks to the turf and chunters to himself.

Getting into half-time unscathed will be the target for Cardiff now.

Oh dear, the 'shots off target' column is totting up for Liverpool.

Trent Alexander-Arnold's free-kick is curled over.

He's had two now, he won't get the next one.

As much as Liverpool are dominating possession and forcing Cardiff to defend deep, they've not really stressed the Championship side's defence on too many occasions.

Steve Morison will be delighted with his much-changed team's effort so far.
