Rangers manager Giovanni van Bronckhorst is thoroughly satisfied as he chats to Sky Sports.

"We are very pleased, its a big win for us," he says. "They way we won and the attitude we showed, I'm really happy, it's a good reaction.

"The key is to keep performing game in and game out, that's the key to the way we want to play, we have to keep this energy and there's a good chance to win [the league]."

On Alfredo Morelos' excellent display, he adds: "We know Alfredo's quality and what he can bring to the team with his movement, he can give us more up front."

Hearts head coach Robbie Neilson tells Sky Sports: "I actually thought we started the second half quite well and created some good chances, but when we lost the second we just sort of capitulated a bit.

"It's disappointing. When you come to any good team, you need to take your chances and we had two or three."

Rangers and Celtic knocked in nine goals between them today and you can see them all soon, with highlights on BBC Scotland at 1915 GMT.

"There is always pressure at Rangers," Ibrox midfielder Scott Arfield tells Sky Sports. "There's along way to go in the title race. There's lots of points to play for. It's going to be a cracking end to the season. We feel as if we can win every game.

"Alfredo [Morelos] is a big player for us he should have had his hat-trick. He just scares defenders with his all-round ability and that wins games.

"We knew it was going be difficult, Hearts create threats all over the pitch, but Alfredo scored in a key moment for us."

Rangers are at home to a team from Edinburgh again on Wednesday, with Hibs the opposition.

Celtic go to Aberdeen at the same time.

Hearts host bottom of the table Dundee and Motherwell visit Tannadice.

Ryan Kent and Ryan Jack both shone for Rangers but Alfredo Morelos was the undoubted star of the show.

The striker missed three games while away with Colombia and didn't kick a ball with his country, but he certainly made up for lost time with a performance full of power, pace and precision.

He scored twice and had a hand in the other three.

So, it's as you were in the Scottish Premiership, with Celtic one point in front of Rangers at the top after big wins for the Glasgow duo.

Hearts and Motherwell will be feeling sore but they stay third and fourth.

Rangers needed a response after their Old Firm defeat and they have delivered in style, steamrollering third-placed Hearts at Ibrox.
