Two automatic promotion contenders go head-to-head in west Yorkshire as Bournemouth hope to derail the hopes of one of their closest contenders in Huddersfield.

The Cherries start the afternoon with a three-point and three-game cushion over the Terriers but in need of some consistency after spurning a lead over relegation-threatened Reading on Tuesday evening.

But Huddersfield will also be keen to bounce back after they were beaten for the first time in 18 league games at Millwall on Wednesday.

Bournemouth ran out 3-0 winners when these two sides met in October with a couple of those goals from leading scorer Dominic Solanke.

Will he play a pivotal part once more this afternoon?

  10. FULL-TIMEpublished at 14:21 Greenwich Mean Time 19 March 2022

    Derby 1-1 Coventry

A result that does neither side's ambitions of staying up or promotion any favours.

All eyes now turn to Reading's result for Derby and the rest of the play-off contenders for Coventry.

  11. Postpublished at 14:20 Greenwich Mean Time 19 March 2022

    Sheffield United 2-0 Barnsley

That was as good a chance as Barnsley have had this second-half.

Claudio Gomes is in and onside down the right and gets a good cross into the box, but Carlton Morris heads it over.

Two minutes of the 90 to go...

  12. HITS THE POSTpublished at 14:20 Greenwich Mean Time 19 March 2022

    Derby 1-1 Coventry

Almost a winner for the Rams.

Louie Sibley's header flicks off Dom Hyam and crashes off the inside of the post.

Incredible finish to this game but it seems destined to end all square.

  13. Postpublished at 14:18 Greenwich Mean Time 19 March 2022

    Derby 1-1 Coventry

Fankaty Dabo might have got away with one there.

The Coventry defender, already on a booking, puts in a high boot on Festy Ebosele. Free-kick given, but no card.

There will be three minutes of stoppage time.

  14. Postpublished at 14:17 Greenwich Mean Time 19 March 2022

    Derby 1-1 Coventry

Another save from a free-kick by Sky Blues stopper Simon Moore!

This time Malcolm Ebiowei curls one towards goal from the right and Moore tips it over.

    Sheffield United 2-0 Barnsley

It's all going Sheffield United's way now. Wes Foderingham kicks a long ball down field and they quickly break down the right and win a corner.

It's headed into the near post and comes back out to Ben Osborn but he skies his shot completely over the bar.

  16. GREAT SAVE!published at 14:15 Greenwich Mean Time 19 March 2022

    So close for Derby.

Tom Lawrence bends a free-kick around the wall from 20 yards but Simon Moore pushes the ball wide at full stretch.

Less than five minutes to go.

  17. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 14:12 Greenwich Mean Time 19 March 2022

  18. Postpublished at 14:10 Greenwich Mean Time 19 March 2022

    Derby 1-1 Coventry

Another huge chance for Viktor Gyokeres goes begging!

Matt Godden does brilliantly to find his fellow forward inside the box but his low effort is saved by the legs of Ryan Allsop.

It was a fine save, but it really should be 2-1 to Coventry.

  19. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 14:07 Greenwich Mean Time 19 March 2022

    Derby 1-1 Coventry

Third substitution for Derby as Louie Sibley replaces Ravel Morrison up top.

A goal has definitely been coming this last 10 minutes from the home side.

Morgan Gibbs-White rounds Bradley Collins as he dives for the ball and calmly slots it into the net for his ninth goal of the season to double Sheffield United's lead.

With 14 minutes to go that could be the end of Barnsley today.
