  3. Top-flight five into last eight

Earlier, Dundee United, Hearts, Motherwell and St Mirren took their place in Monday's draw.

  4. 'Good day for us' - Van Bronckhorst

    FT: Annan Athletic 0-3 Rangers

Rangers manager Giovanni van Bronckhorst is content with progress to the quarter-finals despite his side not building on their 3-0 lead after the break.

"We wanted to start really good and of course it was good to decide the match in the first half," he tells Premier Sports.

"It was difficult circumstances with the wind and rain, but I happy with the performance and result. We had no injuries, so it was a good day for us."

  5. Ramsey delight at victory

    FT: Annan Athletic 0-3 Rangers

On-loan Juventus midfielder Aaron Ramsey is delighted with the win in his "first start for a long time".

"Conditions were a test in the first half, but it was good to be back and we did a good job to get into the next round," he tells Premier Sports.

"The quality is very high in the team and we changed a lot of players from the last game it shows the strength in depth is there."

  6. Moral victory for Annan?

    FT: Annan Athletic 0-3 Rangers

Given that Annan manager Peter Murphy suggested before kick-off that anything less than a 5-0 win for the visitors would be a failure for the Ibrox side, it will perhaps be greeted with a mixed response from Rangers' support.

Opposite number Giovanni van Bronckhorst will no doubt point to the fact that a side showing 11 complete changes had already won the game within the first 30 minutes and did what they needed to do to reach the quarter-finals.

  7. FULL-TIME Annan Athletic 0-3 Rangers

Rangers ease into the quarter-finals of the Scottish Cup thanks to first-half goals from Filip Helander, Kemar Roofe and Fashion Sakala.

  8. Improving Annan

    Annan Athletic 0-3 Rangers

    Cammy Bell

    Former Rangers goalkeeper

Quote Message: Annan's will be disappointed with their first-half performance and some of the goals they conceded, but they've been better in the second half
  9. Post update

    Annan Athletic 0-3 Rangers

Owen Moxen is next to try his luck from range.

However, the Annan midfielder's free-kick is from all of 35 yards and is too far out to trouble goalkeeper Jon McLaughlin.

  10. Post update

    Annan Athletic 0-3 Rangers

Annan look for a late consolation, but Michael Garrity's shot is a bit over-ambitious and the on-loan Morton midfielder's long-range effort sweeps well wide of the far post.

  11. Post update

    Annan Athletic 0-3 Rangers

The game is petering out, but it was all over by half-time.

Rangers will perhaps be disappointed not to have added to their lead.

Light Blues fans, are you satisfied with your team's performance? Thumbs up for yes, thumbs down for no.

  12. Post update

    Annan Athletic 0-3 Rangers

Charlie McCann creates a chance for himself, but the midfield debutant's shot is saved well by Annan goalkeeper Greg Fleming.

  13. Post update

    Annan Athletic 0-3 Rangers

Scott Wright has a chance deep inside the Annan penalty box, but the former Aberdeen winger lashes wastefully over.

  14. Lowry impresses again

    Annan Athletic 0-3 Rangers

    Kenny Miller

    Former Rangers striker on Sportsound

Quote Message: We knew it was pretty much over as a contest when the second goal went in. It has allowed Rangers to give more game time to some more players and Alex Lowry has shown some excellent touches
  15. PENALTY APPEAL

    Annan Athletic 0-3 Rangers

Annan are struggling to get out of their own half and concede a corner.

Alex Lowry flashes in a cross that has the defence scrambling to clear and it looks like Rangers striker Cedric Itten is taken down inside the penalty box. However, no penalty award.

  16. Post update

    Annan Athletic 0-3 Rangers

A free-kick conceded just outside the penalty box gives Kemar Roofe, who had been fouled, another chance to add to his first-half goal.

However, the striker sends his curling drive just over the crossbar.

  17. McCann given Rangers debut

    Annan Athletic 0-3 Rangers

A couple more changes from Rangers and 19-year-old former Manchester United academy midfielder Charlie McCann is handed his debut.

  18. Post update

    Annan Athletic 0-3 Rangers

Right-back Mateusz Zukowski shows his attacking prowess with a jinking run to the byline.

The January signing from Lechia Gdansk finds Kemar Roofe at the front post, but the striker somehow heads wide from five yards.

  19. HITS THE WOODWORK

    Annan Athletic 0-3 Rangers

On-loan Manchester United winger Amad Diallo has had quiet game but bursts into life.

He pounces on a stray pass out of the Annan defence, rides a couple of challenges and sends an 18-yard drive off the top of the crossbar.

  20. Garrity on for Annan

    Annan Athletic 0-3 Rangers

Annan also make a change, with on-loan Morton midfielder Michael Garrity replacing striker Iain Anderson.
