Huddersfield are playing in the fifth round of the FA Cup for the first time since 2017-18. The Terriers have progressed from just one of their last 10 ties at this stage, beating Ron Greenwood’s West Ham in February 1972.

BBC Sport will show two FA Cup quarter-finals, including Chelsea's trip to Championship side Middlesbrough.

The Blues' trip to the Riverside will be on Saturday, 19 March (17:15 GMT) and will be live on BBC One, BBC iPlayer and the BBC Sport website.

Manchester City's visit to Southampton on Sunday, 20 March (15:00 GMT) will be live on BBC One and digital platforms.

The other ties - Crystal Palace v Everton and Huddersfield/Nottingham Forest v Liverpool - will be on ITV.

Nottingham Forest have won each of their last four FA Cup home games, last having a longer such run at the City Ground in the competition between January 1991 and January 1993 under Brian Clough (7).

Like Forest, Huddersfield have also claimed a Premier League scalp in this season's FA Cup.

In the third round, they came from behind to win 2-1 at Burnley before knocking out Barnsley in an all-Yorkshire tie.

It's already been quite a journey for Nottingham Forest in this season's FA Cup.

After seeing off record 14-time winners Arsenal in the third round, they stuck four past holders Leicester City to reach the fifth round for the first time since 2014.

Huddersfield boss Carlos Corberan: "It's 100 years since Huddersfield won the FA Cup. It makes me realise how lucky I am to be involved at a club like this. It's a really big club and I am aware of that every single day."

On the prospect of facing Liverpool in the next round: "I think we need to be thinking about the opponent we are about to face - not the next one.

"I know how difficult a game it’s going to be playing away against a very strong opponent who are going to demand a lot from us. We want to give our best performance and stay in the cup, that’s the only target."

Huddersfield's Spanish boss Carlos Corberan is just 38.

As a former youth player at Valencia, he was able to watch Rafa Benitez at close quarters.

He was assistant at Leeds United when he was appointed Huddersfield's head coach in July 2020.

Corberan is doing a terrific job under the radar.

Huddersfield were relegated from the top flight in 2019 and flirted with relegation to League One last season.

This campaign they are banging on the Premier League door after a remarkable run of form.

The Terriers are on a 16-game unbeaten run in the league. They last tasted defeat in the league on 27 November, while they arrive in Nottingham on the back of a four-match winning run.

Nottingham Forest have not played Liverpool since 1999 when the likes of Pierre van Hooijdonk, Marlon Harewood and Carlton Palmer were turning out for them. Forest started that season under Dave Bassett. It ended with Ron Atkinson in charge - and relegation from the top flight.

Nottingham Forest boss Steve Cooper: "The motivation of a cup game is to get through to the next round. But knowing that Liverpool is next has to be the motivation, especially with the chance of it being at home.

"We've got to focus on what it takes to get there, which is playing well and winning the next game. That's where our focus lies."

Huddersfield are second in the table while Forest are seven places and 10 points below.

It's honours even between these two teams in the Championship this season.

Back in September, an own goal by keeper Lee Nicholls and another by Lewis Grabban helped Forest to a 2-0 win at Huddersfield.

The most recent meeting at the City Ground on 30 December ended in a narrow victory for Huddersfield - Duane Holmes with the winner.

Two changes for the Nottingham Forest side that drew 1-1 against Sheffield United on Friday as Max Lowe and Sam Surridge come in for Jack Colback and Keinan Davis.

Huddersfield Town make six changes to the side that beat Peterborough United 3-0 on Friday, including goalkeeper Lee Nicholls who is replaced by January recruit Jamal Blackman.
