From Forest whacking Blackpool like a 'Splat the Rat' in the seaside arcades, to Coventry's ninth minute of added time leveller with Blackburn, it was a day of drama.

For every moment of joy, there is disappointment for others. Crewe fans, Scunthorpe fans and Peterborough fans will all be drowning sorrows.

Yet, it's over quite yet.

We've Birmingham's derby with West Brom from the Championship and the EFL Trophy final between Rotherham and Sutton, tomorrow afternoon.

It also kicks off again in midweek. Action awaits from the Championship, League One and League Two.

I can't promise it will be quite so suspense-driven as today, but I wouldn't bet against it.

Fulham and Bournemouth continue their irresistible march to the Premier League with wins.

Luton failed to keep pace with Huddersfield despite a late equaliser against Millwall.

Middlesbrough's win lifts them to fifth, dumping Nottingham Forest back out of the play-off spots, while Blackburn were denied three points to maintain a precious buffer by Coventry's last-gasp heroics.

• Plymouth boosted their promotion ambitions with a narrow win over Oxford.
• Lee Gregory's injury-time goal gave Sheffield Wednesday a dramatic late win over AFC Wimbledon.
• Nathan Broadhead scored in the 95th minute to hand Sunderland a late win against Gillingham and Wycombe enjoyed a 2-0 win over Doncaster.

How vital could Josh Laurent's late leveller for Reading prove to be?

It looked like the Tykes were going to close the gap on the Royals to just two points thanks to Carton Morris' early goal but Laurent's late equaliser means the gap remains five points.

For Luton, it's ground lost as they seek to cling onto their play-off spot, and likewise for Millwall in their bid to get into the top six.

Derby get a huge three points and move off the bottom of the Championship thanks to Ravel Morrison's late goal.

This looked destined to end goalless before John Egan's late own goal gave the home side all three points.

Bournemouth survive a nervy finish at the Vitality to beat Bristol City and it's a big three points in the bid to return to the Premier League.

They keep that buffer on third-placed Huddersfield with a crucial win.

Bristol City stay just outside the relegation places, though they've a decent gap in points.

Peterborough running out of time, games and chances after a heavy home defeat.

Middlesbrough get the job done in emphatic fashion and do their play-off hopes no harm with a goal-difference lifting four goals.
