AFC Wimbledon have found a leveller at home to Charlton. Zach Robinson has got it against the 10 men with a close-range header.

And Garath McCleary has finished any hopes of a Cambridge comeback by making it 4-1 to Wycombe.

    Preston 1-0 Blackpool

As you would expect Blackpool are giving this what is known as a right go.

The home side are forced to hack away a couple of dangerous crosses in quick succession.

Swemp FA: If Luton did get promoted to the Premier League, would they be the first team to achieve this having previously been relegated to non-league?

Off the top of my head, I'd say yes. They won promotion from the Conference Premier (now the National League) in 2013-14 and haven't looked back.

  4. CLOSE!published at 21:28 British Summer Time 5 April 2022

    Peterborough United 0-1 Luton Town

How did that not go in!?

If Peterborough were going to get back into this match, that was it I think.

Joe Ward sends in a long cross from the right and substitute Ricky-Jade Jones is there at the far post, but the ball is just behind him and his shot goes wide from close range. Anything on target and that would have been in.

  5. Postpublished at 21:27 British Summer Time 5 April 2022

    Preston 1-0 Blackpool

Josh Bowler shows lovely movement and swagger to dance into the Preston area and then looks up and... shanks his cross/shot out for a throw in.

Twenty minutes to go in this one.

  6. League One latestpublished at 21:23 British Summer Time 5 April 2022

The 10 men lead at Plough Lane! Jayden Stockley has allowed Charlton to steal in front. Tremendous work from Adam Matthews down the right where his cross is bulleted in by Stockley.

AFC Wimbledon, without a win since December, are going to have to dig deep to get something from this now.

While Harvey Knibbs has pulled one back for Cambridge. They now trail Wycombe 3-1.

  7. goal

GOAL: Reading 2-1 Stokepublished at 21:22 British Summer Time 5 April 2022

    Taylor Harwood-Bellis OG (63 mins)

    The Royals re-take the lead!

I was about to say this game was toing and froing and then up pops Lucas Joao whose effort takes a deflection off Taylor Harwood-Bellis and in. It goes down as an own goal.

Reading eight points clear of the bottom three, as it stands.

  8. YELLOW CARDSpublished at 21:21 British Summer Time 5 April 2022

    Preston 1-0 Blackpool

Daniel Johnson and Andrew Hughes are both in the book for the home side.

The latter for a crunching foul on Gary Madine, which, to Madine's credit he took in good grace.

The away side bring on Shayne Lavery for CJ Hamilton.

That should give them a bit more of a threat through the middle.

  9. League Two latestpublished at 21:21 British Summer Time 5 April 2022

Harry Charsley has broken the deadlock at the Peninsula Stadium where Port Vale have gone 1-0 up at Salford City, much to the delight of their impressive travelling support.

  10. Postpublished at 21:19 British Summer Time 5 April 2022

    Peterborough United 0-1 Luton Town

Frankie Kent goes into the referee's book for a challenge on James Bree, exactly on the edge of the box on the right by the goal line.

Peter Kioso wins the cross when it eventually comes in, but his header bounces out of the box and clear.

It's a big ask for Peterborough now, you feel, for them to get back into this. Luton are not in a rush whenever they come onto the ball.

  11. Postpublished at 21:17 British Summer Time 5 April 2022

    Sheff Utd 1-0 QPR

That's about as close as the away side have come.

Scotland striker Lyndon Dykes powers forward before smashing a shot over the bar.

  12. Postpublished at 21:16 British Summer Time 5 April 2022

    Sheff Utd 1-0 QPR

The away side have made all three of their subs now and there's just under 20 minutes to play.

Defeat tonight will be five losses in six for Mark Warburton's men.

Fleetwood have been pegged back by Lincoln, where Lewis Fiorini has equalised at Highbury.

And there has been a goal in the mid-table clash between Bolton and Portsmouth as Aiden O'Brien has put the visitors ahead early in the second half.

    Reading 1-1 Stoke

Jacob Brown fires a shot just over the bar after being played in by Potters goalscorer Romaine Sawyers.

  15. Postpublished at 21:11 British Summer Time 5 April 2022

    Peterborough United 0-1 Luton Town

That Danny Hylton goal has really taken the sting out of this match for the last 15 minutes.

For all the intensity Peterborough had during the first 45 minutes, Luton are really slowing things down now they've got the advantage they wanted.

    Quick poll.

Luton are putting a five-point gap between themselves (in third) and seventh-placed Blackburn as it stands.

Do you think the Hatters will win promotion to the Premier League this season?

Thumbs up for yes, thumbs down for no.

  17. Postpublished at 21:09 British Summer Time 5 April 2022

    Millwall 0-1 Swansea City

Before tonight, Millwall had only conceded one goal in their previous seven home matches at the Den, so Gary Rowett won't be pleased to see his side fall behind.

We've got half an hour to go and he's started ringing the changes, taking off George Saville and Tom Bradshaw, for Oliver Burke and Maikel Kieftenbeld.

  18. Postpublished at 21:07 British Summer Time 5 April 2022

    Preston 1-0 Blackpool

Great challenge from Marvin Ekpiteta as Cameron Archer looked to latch on to a big ball forward from the Preston goalkeeper Daniel Iversen.

    The corner comes to nothing.

  19. League One latestpublished at 21:05 British Summer Time 5 April 2022

Will Keane has wrapped things up for Wigan with a third goal at home to Accrington. They are moving top - one point ahead of MK Dons and three clear of Rotherham in third.

A second goal for Sam Vokes and then a third from Josh Scowen two minutes later have probably wrapped up the points for Wycombe away to Cambridge.

That could be enough to get the Chairboys back into the play-off spots.

Down in the relegation spots, AFC Wimbledon could do with a win over Charlton. The game is goalless but the Addicks have lost Ryan Inniss to a red card.

    Reading 1-1 Stoke

And we are also back under way at Reading where the home side are looking for a win to lift them eight points clear of the bottom three.
