Huddersfield Town end the day up in third thanks to their 2-0 win over play-off rivals Luton in West Yorkshire.

Jon Russell and Naby Sarr bagged for the Terriers either side of Elijah Adebayo sending a penalty wide for the Hatters.

The Terriers welcome QPR on Good Friday, a team who have lost seven of their past eight games.

Luton get us going with our EFL coverage on Friday with a massive clash against fourth-placed Nottingham Forest.

What a win that is for Huddersfield Town and they are now SIX points clear of seventh.

Jon Russell lifted home a beauty before Elijah Adebayo missed a great chance to level when he sent his penalty kick wide.

Naby Sarr made the points safe late on and the Terriers are back up to third in the table.

It's not going to be Luton's day today and next up? Nottingham Forest at home.

Luton fashion an opening with Huddersfield incredibly deep but Amari'i Bell ignores his team-mates and lashes a wild shot into the stands.

Elijah Adebayo, no doubt stung by his penalty miss, does well to keep the ball before setting it back for Robert Snodgrass on the edge of the area.

How crucial could that Jon Russell goal for Huddersfield prove to be in four weeks' time when the regular season comes to an end?
