Righteo, what have Luton got now then?

They've drawn their previous two games and, with 30 minutes to go in this, you'd assume they'd take a third draw in a row now.

  4. goal

GOAL: Huddersfield 1-0 Lutonpublished at 21:04 British Summer Time 11 April 2022

    Jon Russell (59 mins)

    WOW.

Well, that's out of keeping with what we've seen so far.

Pipa's throw in is allowed to bounce in the area and Jon Russell just lofts a beautifully measured shot over James Shea and into the Luton net.

    Lovely finish.

Town going third as it stands.

  5. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 58 mins

    Huddersfield 0-0 Luton

Henri Lansbury isn't going to be able to carry on.

He heads the ball away from a corner and straight away he's down on the ground holding his neck.

Dan Potts is on and Luton have now used two of their subs because of injuries. Not ideal.

  6. Postpublished at 56 mins

    Huddersfield 0-0 Luton

Sorba Thomas swings in a free-kick for the home side after Lewis O'Brien was felled by Sonny Bradley.

It's cleared out to Danel Sinani on the edge of the area and his fierce strike deflects over.

    It's hailing again.

The most painful of the weathers.

  8. Postpublished at 53 mins

    Huddersfield 0-0 Luton

The home fans are getting a bit restless as Luton spend a bit of time in possession.

They're quicker to any loose balls at the moment.

A cross into the box hits Town defender Levi Colwill on his thigh and bounces up to his arm. The away fans want a penalty, the referee is unmoved.

Luton midfielder Henri Lansbury is down after a clash in midfield and the medical team are taking their time giving him some help.

He's just holding his neck as he walks to the sidelines.

    Hopefully ok to carry on.

The away side start the half on the front foot.

It's eventually rolled back for James Bree to swing in and his centre is just in front of both Allan Campbell and Elijah Adebayo.

Darren: 0-0 the result that will put a smile on every team from 2nd through to 9th - sorry Coventry!

It's looking like we're in for a stellar end to the season with plenty of teams still in the mix for the play-offs.

  14. 'Awkward game' so farpublished at 20:35 British Summer Time 11 April 2022

    Huddersfield 0-0 Luton

    Matthew Glennon
    Former Huddersfield Town goalkeeper

    It wasn't great.

Town gave themselves a lot of hard work to do by giving the ball away cheaply.

    It's been a bitty, awkward-looking game.

There's a lot of pressure on this game, there's a lot riding on it. It was going to be tentative but I'm expecting more in the second half.

  15. HALF-TIMEpublished at 20:32 British Summer Time 11 April 2022

    Goalless at the break.

Not... Not been a lot in it to be honest.

Sorba Thomas' deflected effort could have gone anywhere and found the arms of prone Luton goalkeeper James Shea.

Harry Cornick's low shot forced a decent save from Lee Nicholls in the home goal.

  16. Postpublished at 45 mins

    Huddersfield 0-0 Luton

Sore one for Luton midfielder Henri Lansbury as Danny Ward inadvertently stands on him as he falls to the ground.

The former Aston Villa man has had so many injury worries in recent years but he's ok to continue.

Into two minutes of time added on now.

  17. Postpublished at 41 mins

    Huddersfield 0-0 Luton

Great play by Huddersfield defender Levi Colwill.

He wins the ball high up and then looks to charge forward.

Luton midfielder Henri Lansbury checks him to the ground and Sorba Thomas' free-kick almost finds the onrushing Colwill in the middle.

  18. Postpublished at 38 mins

    Huddersfield 0-0 Luton

Allan Campbell up against Lewis O'Brien in the midfield is a nice battle.

The Luton man has a few nibbles at O'Brien before pushing him to the ground.

The Scot is oddly surprised to see this infraction punished.

  19. Postpublished at 37 mins

    Huddersfield 0-0 Luton

Huddersfield goalkeeper Lee Nicholls is forced into action for the first time this evening as Harry Cornick makes good connection on a bouncing ball 20 yards out.

  20. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 35 mins

    Huddersfield 0-0 Luton

Luton midfielder Pelly Ruddock-Mpanzu is helped from the pitch in some discomfort.

The physios try to sort of carry him off between them but... That doesn't really work so he hobbles off instead.

Veteran Robert Snodgrass is on in his place.
