Iranian international Allahyar Sayyadmanesh, who joined Hull on loan from Fenerbahce until the end of the season in January, has his first goal for the Tigers.

He jumped on a poor back pass from Cardiff's Mark McGuinness, to slot a right-footed shot into the left-hand corner.

    Sheffield United 0-0 Reading

Lots of early pressure from Sheffield United and Reading have barely been out of their own half this opening five minutes.

Ben Osborn sent in a cross from the left and for a moment there was a bit of confusion between Reading keeper Orjan Nyland and one of his defenders, but the ball was cleared from danger.

Wolves loanee Ryan Giles sends a corner into the Peterborough box which Tayo Edun tries to control before Ben Brereton-Diaz gets onto the end of it.

The Chile international tries to divert it goalbound with a quick turning shot but his effort is off target.

Plymouth for me have been a real surprise package - credit to Steven Schumacher, who's done an unbelievable job since Ryan Lowe left.

And Wycombe, under the charismatic Gareth Ainsworth, are seventh in the table.

It's a must win for both teams - I can't look any further than this game in League One.

Barrow v Forest Green (15:00 BST)

Phil Brown is a glutton for punishment, isn’t he? Having unsuccessfully tried to keep Southend in the EFL last season, he’s given himself a tough task again with Barrow.

His arrival in Cumbria hasn’t seen a new manager bounce and after losing their last four, they sit fourth from bottom, out of the relegation places only on goal difference and now welcome the division’s table-toppers to Holker Street. Barrow have only won three games at home and, with Forest Green Rovers being the league’s best travellers, an away win looks likely.

So what hope does Brown have? Well, FGR are missing their leading scorer, 23-goal Matt Stevens, for the rest of the season and did have a run between February and March of no wins in six.

Rob Edwards’ side have since rallied, with three victories from their last four games and they’ll surely go up, but having gone 19 unbeaten earlier in the campaign, they’re finding things a little more challenging in the run-in.

All hopes for FGR’s attack may rest on full-back Kane Wilson, he - along with Stevens - are nominated for the League One player of the season award and with 13 league assists, his marauding runs will be something Brown will wish to nullify... if he can.

On paper this is a done deal but the only predictable thing about League Two is its unpredictability - so let’s see how this goes!

  11. Will Scunthorpe's relegation be confirmed?published at 14:55 British Summer Time 15 April 2022

Scunthorpe's relegation to the National League will be confirmed if they don't beat Leyton Orient this afternoon.

Which team out of Barrow, Oldham and Stevenage could join them remains to be seen, with all three on 37 points - although Oldham have played one more game. Barrow are on a on a four-match losing streak and seem to have the toughest fixture, facing league leaders Forest Green.

At the other end of the table, the race for the play-offs is tight with eight clubs within seven points of each other, from fourth down to 11th.

Every team has lost fairly recently, but things could become a little clearer later with four teams taking each other on, in Mansfield v Sutton and Bristol Rovers v Salford City.

  13. Plymouth aim to close the gap to the top twopublished at 14:52 British Summer Time 15 April 2022

Only two of the top six are in action today and the tastiest fixture sees fourth placed Plymouth travel to play-off chasers Wycombe. Argyle will be within two points of automatic promotion if they win, but seventh placed Wanderers are unbeaten in eight.

Sunderland are on a similar eight match unbeaten streak and and will leapfrog Sheffield Wednesday to fifth with a win over Shrewsbury.

In the fight for survival, five teams are battling to avoid the drop with just five points between them.

Fleetwood host Oxford, Morecambe travel to Charlton, Gillingham are away at Cheltenham and Doncaster - who earned a morale-boosting win over Crewe last week - host Bolton.

AFC Wimbledon, meanwhile, will hope a match against already-relegated Crewe is a prime candidate for them to finally secure a first win of 2022.

I’ve gone for this all-Midlands clash, the Blues versus the Sky Blues.

Last season, this was the landlord v tenants derby if you remember, while Coventry City were using the services of St Andrew's.

Coventry have been back on their home turf and they would be my outside bet to sneak into the top six. They’re six points behind Sheffield United in sixth and Mark Robins has done a stellar job this season - his side the only team to beat runaway leaders Fulham at home and away in the Championship this season.

In recent years, this time of year has only meant one thing for the Blues - squeaky bum time - and I think Lee Bowyer will take not being in a relegation dogfight as his side stumble and slump to safety.

Blues have scored one goal in their past five games, that was a penalty, and the last four league games between these two have been low-scoring draws, including a nil-nil in November, so this could be a shocking choice for my game of the day as far as goalscoring goes.

  17. Blades looking to shore up play-off spotpublished at 14:45 British Summer Time 15 April 2022

Sheff Utd v Reading (15:00 BST)

Sheffield United fansImage source, PA Media

As it stands going into today's 15:00 BST kick-offs, Sheffield United occupy the final Championship play-offs with a two-point cushion on Blackburn.

They take on Reading today with the Royals putting in an inconsistent run of form at the opposite end of the table.

Blackburn travel to face bottom-of-the-table Peterborough this afternoon so a victory for Paul Heckingbottom's side could give them a big boost going into the end-of-season run-in.

  18. Play-off re-run in Swanseapublished at 14:44 British Summer Time 15 April 2022

    Swansea v Barnsley (15:00 BST)

    Dafydd Pritchard
BBC Sport Wales at the Swansea.com Stadium

Swansea City v Barnsley was a play-off semi-final last season, with a 1-1 draw here enough to take the Swans to Wembley with a 2-1 aggregate victory.

But now Barnsley are staring at relegation, eight points adrift of safety.

Swansea, meanwhile, are eight points off the top six in 14th place. They snuck into the play-offs on the final day of the 2019-20 season but even considering their fine recent form – they’ve won four of their past five games – repeating that feat might just prove beyond them this time.

Swansea are unchanged from last Saturday’s 2-1 win over Derby County. Captain Matt Grimes makes his 200th appearance for the club.

  19. Will Bournemouth take a big leap towards promotion?published at 14:43 British Summer Time 15 April 2022

    Bournemouth v Middlesbrough (15:00 BST)

    Scott ParkerImage source, Rex Features

With games in hand and in the top two no matter what happens today, Bournemouth are looking good a return to the Championship at the second attempt.

They take on Middlesbrough today with both sides off the pace in recent matches, with the Cherries losing one and drawing one in their past two games.

Boro, on the other hand, are on a two-game losing run as they make the lengthy trip to the south coast.

Can Bournemouth take a big leap towards automatic promotion today or are Middlesbrough going to get their play-off hopes back on track?
