Celtic goalkeeper Joe Hart picks out Jota with a long kick and the winger does very well to take the ball down before lashing an ambitious long-range effort high over the target.

Quote MessageKemar Roofe, his confidence is high. It's not just the shot at the end, he dropped into space and knew exactly what he was doing. It wasn't far off target. Really good play.

Quote MessageWhat an opportunity. Ramsey's pass is just behind Kent, doesn't allow him to step on and wrap his foot around it.
Celtic 0-0 Rangers
Excellent work from John Lundstram as he slides in to steal the ball deep in Celtic territory. Aaron Ramsey strides to the edge of the penalty box but his pass to Ryan Kent is not quite on the money and the winger's shot flies over the top as two defenders try to cover.

Hampden has become something of a second home for Celtic in recent years.
They have clocked up 17 straight wins in semi-finals and finals, with 11 clean sheets, 40 goals scored and only 10 conceded.
The last team to beat them at the national stadium? Rangers - after a penalty shoot-out - in 2016.

Rangers knocked Celtic out of the Scottish Cup last year, winning 2-0 at Ibrox in the fourth round.
The most recent meeting at Hampden was the 2019 League Cup final when 10-man Celtic were celebrating after a Christopher Jullien header.
The last Scottish Cup meeting at Hampden was in the 2018 semi-finals and Rangers had a man sent off that day as they were swept aside 4-0.

Quote MessageGiovanni van Bronckhorst cannot be judged this season. It's got to be next season. I think he's done well to come in and stabilise them, actually, after such a shattering departure from Steven Gerrard. To get them to a European semi-final is an incredible feat. Today will determine whether he's on the same level as Ange Postecoglou.

Rangers manager Giovanni van Bronckhorst on Premier Sports: "It's very special for everyone. For me, it's the first time here as a manager. I played a lot of games here, also with the Dutch team so I know the atmosphere.
"Today's a big game, semi-final. We are here to win the game and go to the final. We're playing against a very tough opponent.
"The game on Thursday was, mentally of course, a big boost for us. Mentally, it's always more difficult to pick players up. Physically, we can recover in two days. The players were all fine and already excited to go and play this game.
"Reaching the final is our focus now. We've prepared well and we are ready to go. Jon McLaughlin is a good goalkeeper. He's done well before, not only in the cup but also in league games for Rangers. We have full confidence in Jon and full confidence in the team."
Van Bronckhorst has elected for Jon McLaughlin in goal instead of Allan McGregor

Celtic manager Ange Postecoglou told Sportsound: "We're looking forward to it. Big game here at Hampden against Rangers. The general build-up is a lot more hyped. The players know it's a different type of game.
"We're bringing in Liel Abada today, whose been outstanding for us. I reckon it's going to be pretty frenetic in the first part. Saving Kyogo Furuhashi for later in the game makes sense.
"I'm sure they'll be at it. It's a big game for them as well, it's a semi-final of a cup. You saw the game yesterday, there's always a bit of an edge to it.
"We've just got to be ready to play our football today and try and beat a tough opponent."

The national stadium is bristling with noise and energy this afternoon on a mild afternoon in Glasgow.
Yesterday's Edinburgh derby was full throttle, and I'd expect no less here.

Celtic are going for three derby victories in a row today, having demolished Rangers 3-0 in early February and then prevailing 2-1 at Ibrox two weeks ago.
The hosts scored early in the most recent meeting through Aaron Ramsey, but Tom Rogic hit back swiftly and Cameron Carter-Vickers was the match-winner.
The first derby of the season went Rangers' way thanks to a Filip Helander header.

Quote MessageHe's been more than a football manager. A year ago, Celtic were struggling for a chief executive. Peter Lawwell went, Dominic McKay went. They were talking about a head of recruitment and a director of football. They haven't done that. They needed a new manager, a new team, a new relationship with their fans. Ange Postecoglou comes in and solves all of that. It's extraordinary what he's done. He's defied convention.

Recent years have seen the away support at Old Firm games cut to just 700 or 800 and there has even been a complete absence of a travelling contingent at times.
This is a welcome throwback, with a 50-50 split of supporters, which is sure generate an electric atmosphere.

With Celtic chasing a fifth treble in six seasons, manager Ange Postecoglou wants his players to revel in the pressure.
"My experience with these things, there is no point trying to disguise it as something it isn’t," he said a few days ago.
"You can go in there and say that it’s just another game but I think you lose the unique aspect of the fact that you want your players to embrace the big occasion. You don’t want your players to shy away from it.
“My role is just to make sure that the focus is on the important things, the things that have got us to this point and also highlight the fact that the key to these big games is to be ready to take the opportunity.
“You don’t want to let too many of those opportunities go by in your career."
