  1. Post update

    Wales 1-2 France

Sophie Ingle's goal has lifted the mood at Parc y Scarlets and shifted the momentum of the game.

Wales are asking questions of France now.

  2. Post update

    Wales 1-2 France

    Gwennan Harries

Former Wales striker on BBC Two Wales

It's the right decision, she's just offside, but it's so close.

  3. DISALLOWED GOAL

    Wales 1-2 France

For a moment Wales think they are level.

A fabulous cross from the right is headed in by Gemma Evans, but the flag is up.

  4. 'If you don't shoot you don't score'

    Wales 1-2 France

    Gwennan Harries

Former Wales striker on BBC Two Wales

They deserve it for the attacking intent they've shown.

France are frail in defensive situations as we've seen.

Yes the deflection is fortunate but if you don't shoot you don't score.

  5. GOAL - Wales 1-2 France

    Sophie Ingle

Wales are back in this game!

Rachel Rowe's endeavour earns a corner which she then delivers sweetly.

France can only clear as far as Sophie Ingle on the edge of the area and her crisp drive flashes into the bottom corner with the aid of a deflection.

    Sophie Ingle scores Wales goal
  6. Post update

    Wales 0-2 France

    Gwennan Harries

Former Wales striker on BBC Two Wales

Wales need to get Jess Fishlock on the ball, find her in those pockets where she can run at defenders and cause problems.

  7. Post update

    Wales 0-2 France

Oh so close to a third goal for France as they work the ball across the penalty area.

Kadidiatou Diani should hit the target at the far post, but blazes her shot wastefully over the bar.

  8. Post update

    Wales 0-2 France

    Nia Jones

Former Wales international on BBC Two Wales

Nobody will feel that mistake more than Laura O'Sullivan herself.

They haven't been carved open which is a positive, but it's two poor goals.

It's now whether we can carve out chances of our own.

  9. SUBSTITUTION

    Wales 0-2 France

France make their first change of the night, as Delphine Cascarino makes way for Sandy Baltimore.

  10. Post update

    Wales 0-2 France

France come forward through Delphine Cascarino, who cuts in from the left and lifts a shot over the bar from 20 yards.

It is a long way back for Wales from here.

  11. Post update

    Wales 0-2 France

Wales appeal for a penalty as Jess Fishlock bursts into the box and is sandwiched between two defenders.

The referee says free-kick just outside the box - and Fishlock's set-piece is too high.

  12. Post update

    Wales 0-2 France

    Gwennan Harries

Former Wales striker on BBC Two Wales

That's an absolute sucker punch for this Welsh team.

You don't need three touches there, Rachel Rowe is available, Hayley Ladd makes an angle.

You cannot afford to do that.

  13. GOAL - Wales 0-2 France

    Marie-Antoinette Katoto

France double their lead and it is a desperate goal for Wales to concede.

Laura O'Sullivan's attempted clearance was blocked by Marie-Antoinette Katoto, who was left with the simple task of rolling into an empty net.

  14. Post update

    Wales 0-1 France

Wales pull out a training-ground routine, Angharad James' free-kick fired low across the area.

Jess Fishlock gets on the end of the cross but fires over as Wales begin to grow into the second half.

Charlotte Bilbault fires a French effort high and wide at the other end.

  15. Post update

    Wales 0-1 France

Toletti makes a mazy run through the Welsh midfielder before spreading the ball wide to Perriset.

Her cross is aimed for Katoto, but Gemma Evans gets her body in the way and Laura O'Sullivan dives on the loose ball.

  16. Post update

    Wales 0-1 France

France have started the second half much like the first and are dominating possession.

However, Kadidiatou Diani makes a cynical challenge on Ceri Holland as she looks to break, the crowd want a yellow card but one isn't coming.

  17. KICK-OFF

    Wales 0-1 France

Here we go. The second half is under way.

Can Wales get back into this?

  18. Post update

    HT: Wales 0-1 France

    Katie Sherwood

Former Wales midfielder on BBC Two Wales

Ceri Holland has really cemented her place in the team, Gemma Grainger sees a lot in her.

She's been promoted with Liverpool now too, so we've got another player playing in the top flight.

I'm excited to see where her journey goes.

  19. Post update

    HT: Wales 0-1 France

    Hannah Cain

Wales international on BBC Two Wales

The girls are working tirelessly, we look threatening on the counter-attack but we need to be a bit more clinical.

The goal is disappointing, but they'll be talking inside now about how they can do better at set-pieces.

We know we can compete with them, we've had some good chances in that half, and the fact it is end-to-end makes it really exciting.

  20. Post update

    HT: Wales 0-1 France

    Nia Jones

Former Wales international on BBC Two Wales

Down the right-hand side Wales have looked dangerous, France look desperate in some areas.

They're not used to having to defend like that, unfortunately Wales haven't connected on crosses as they'd have liked.
