The Poland goalkeeper has made six saves tonight, his highest total in a single match in the World Cup.

Excluding penalty shootouts, he has become just the third goalkeeper since 1966 to save two penalties at a single World Cup tournament, after Brad Friedel (2002 for USA) and Jan Tomaszewski (1974 for Poland).

Argentina will be reasonably pleased. They didn't get the penalty but they have created chances and it feels inevitable. While it's still 0-0 we'll have to wait and see.

Squarewindow: Firstly, the ball had already gone. Second, it was accidental and a genuine attempt to go for the ball. Third, the ref spent at least 45 seconds watching replays so how is it a clear and obvious error? Awful decision.

Hopefully we can score a few goals and then capitalise more on our chances. Argentina have been ok but they need to move the ball a lot quicker. Find Messi around the 18 yard box, make some combinations and that's the only way to score. Poland in the first two games are defensive and keep that defensive shape very compact which is difficult to break down.
