Eric Choupo-Moting has had no help for the last majority of the game, he now has Vincent Aboubakar up there with him. But the problem is they have to take a man out of midfield which already is looking a bit light.

    Cameroon 1-3 Serbia

Just as I say that Cameroon sub Vincent Aboubakar goes on a weaving run into the penalty area and forces a Serbia defender into a last-ditch block.

This is turning into a great game.

Serbia are purring now. As Cameroon push forward they are inevitably leaving spaces at the back and the likes of Dusan Tadic and Sergej Milinkovic-Savic are making hay.

Wow, best team goal of the tournament! More holes in the Cameroon defence than a Swiss cheese.

Beautiful goal by Serbia, it's all too easy. Cameroon have lost their confidence. More goals in this.

  5. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 56 mins

    Cameroon 1-3 Serbia

    Time for some subs.

One of Serbia's goalscorers Strahinja Pavlovic has picked up an injury and is replaced by Stefan Mitrovic.

Cameroon have also made a change and it is unsurprisingly an attacking one - Vincent Aboubakar is one for Martin Hongla.

That is a beautiful goal in the end, Aleksandar Mitrovic won't get many easier this season. I was thinking just before that if they get another goal then Serbia can cruise to the end of the game.

Amongst all that.. well done Dusan Tadic, he was superb.

That's a beautiful goal! Cameroon have been torn apart there.

Dusan Tadic wins the ball on the halfway line and plays it to Sergej Milinkovic-Savic.

Four passes later Andrija Zivkovic is in space at the far post but instead of shooting he cuts onto his left foot before laying the ball off to Aleksandar Mitrovic for a tap in.

Cameroon have tried to push Karl Toko-Ekambi a bit further forward almost alongside Eric Choupo-Moting. I think this is a decent enough ploy as Choupo-Moting has won a few headers but has no one to flick it on to.

Dusan Tadic is looking dangerous again as he plays in Filip Kostic - but Serbia are denied by the offside flag.

Minutes later Tadic lays it off to Sergej Milinkovic-Savic in a central position, but his shot is well blocked.

I am not sure there is any way that Cameroon can stop this Serbian team creating chances from corners and free-kicks.

Christian Bassogog of Cameroon and Luka Jovic of Serbia - both substitutes - were booked in the first half by the way.

All of the Cameroon subs sprinted onto the pitch to celebrate with their team-mates after the opening goal. The Serbia subs, clearly irked by that, responded when they scored.

    HT: Cameroon 1-2 Serbia

I wasn't overly impressed by the game until the first goal and then the Serbians knew they had to take part. Their physicality is a big part of their style but Cameroon also started playing more comfortably in their style - passing the ball wide.

But I am not convinced their final ball is of the top quality and that seems to be their downfall. However they cannot lose belief as it could get a lot worse very quickly.

If it stays like this a draw later between Brazil and Switzerland would see Cameroon eliminated.

So many good headed goals this tournament and that's another. Bit of a theme developing....

What a turnaround, but no less than the Serbians deserve. That will have changed the two managers’ team-talks at HT.

The lift that they got from that goal and knowing the advantage they have in physicality has spooked the Cameroon side. It is that physicality and it is not a great deal more than that.

Sergej Milinkovic-Savic still had a lot to do. Everyone will be asking should the keeper have been waiting at the near post. I certainly know someone who could have got to that - Mr Onana.

Cameroon need the whistle here. It is very nearly 3-1!

Serbia are swarming all over them as a rapid break forward results in Aleksandar Mitrovic having a shot that deflects just wide.

    What a turnaround!

Andrija Zivkovic lays the ball off to Sergej Milinkovic-Savic in space on the edge of the box and the Lazio midfielder powers home a low shot that Devis Epassy gets a glove on but cannot keep out of the net.
