Brazil 0-0 Switzerland
Switzerland are like a European Mexico. Always feels they get to the last 16 and then lose.

Matt: It just wouldn’t feel like a World Cup without a routinely resolute and dogged Swiss side ruining everyone’s fun!
Brazil 0-0 Switzerland
Alisson punches this corner away. Manuel Akanji lofts the ball back into the box and the Brazil keeper catches this one.
Brazil 0-0 Switzerland
Ruben Vargas has a go from the corner of the area, it's blocked again and Switzerland have a corner. This is more like it!!
Brazil 0-0 Switzerland
Switzerland's best chance of the game I think. Silvan Widmer gets in behind on the right and crosses. Brazil can't clear and Vinicius Jr of all people blocks a Djibril Sow shot.
Brazil 0-0 Switzerland
I'd settle for anybody scoring the winner for either side.

Shaqiri to come off the bench and score the winner. You heard it here first.

Switzerland would be happy with a point and the onus is on Brazil to really take the game to them, create something, go away with three points and then they've qualified for the next stage, so it's a huge second half in that respect.
Brazil 0-0 Switzerland
Brazil midfielder Fred trips Djibril Sow and goes to book town.
Brazil 0-0 Switzerland
Lovely skill from Rodrygo and Switzerland's Fabian Rieder catches him in the face with his elbow. Yellow card for the youngster.
Brazil 0-0 Switzerland
Brazil striker Richarlison has only touched the ball 13 times so far.
Brazil 0-0 Switzerland
Brazil defender Eder Militao catches Ruben Vargas from behind. Just a free-kick.
Brazil 0-0 Switzerland
Vinicius Jr is well offside as he runs onto a long ball down the left.
He and Rodrygo play on the wings for Real Madrid - but Rodrygo is a bit further back here.
Brazil 0-0 Switzerland
Brazil edged possession in the first 45 minutes but the majority of the action was rooted in the middle of the park.
Not one for the tournament's highlights reel.
Brazil 0-0 Switzerland
The second half has to be better. Surely? We go again.
Brazil 0-0 Switzerland
Brazil make a change at the break. Real Madrid winger Rodrygo replaces West Ham's Lucas Paqueta. That is a very positive switch.
Brazil 0-0 Switzerland
Switzerland had just one attempt in the first half, their lowest tally in the opening 45 minutes of a World Cup game since their opening game in 2010 against Spain.
The Swiss went on to win that game 1-0.
HT: Brazil 0-0 Switzerland
The xG graphic is rather sparse after that first half of football.
Just one solitary purple dot for Switzerland courtesy of Silvan Widmer's early chance, while Brazil (black dots) have had the best effort on goal thanks to Vinicius Jr.

A lot of you are far from impressed with pre-tournament favourites Brazil so far...
People talk a lot about teams deserving to go through or not this World Cup and for me Brazil do not deserve to go through but probably will. They got given the easy group and still struggle. A lil sus imo.
Nick
I'm guessing the lights work on a movement sensor and since there's been so little action, that's why we had a little blackout.

Brazil are missing a player with that spark / ability to unlock an organised defence who is sitting deep and inviting you to break them down. You know, a player like Neymar.
