    FT: Serbia 2-3 Switzerland

    Ramon Vega

Former Switzerland defender on BBC Radio 5 Live

    Switzerland

I can imagine what these guys are feeling in the dressing room. This time, I feel they will go even further. They're a very solid group. This was a tough group with Brazil and Serbia. They've really made us proud. I'm super happy.

We beat Portugal in June. It won't be an easy one but I think they're there to beat. It's definitely one of the best teams Switzerland have had in years. The quality is undoubtedly there.

  6. Smash and grab from Cameroon

    FT: Cameroon 1-0 Brazil

Cameroon scored with one of just two shots on target inside the box this evening.

Mike: Three teams were certain to get to knock out stage after two games- France Portugal Brazil. They all lost final game.

  8. 'This will be seen as humiliation'

    FT: Cameroon 1-0 Brazil

    Tim Vickery

South American football expert on BBC Radio 5 Live

    Brazil

The wins for Senegal over Ecuador and now Cameroon over Brazil, they're the first wins for African nations over South Americans since Cameroon beat Argentina and Colombia in 1990, so there's a bit of history there.

You saw how furious the Brazil players were. They did not want to be on the pitch for what will be seen as humiliation, at least where I'm living (Brazil).

Yes, it was a much-changed side, but still it's there in the record books that Brazil have lost to African opposition for the first time in the World Cup.

The coach Tite will face awkward questions now. He wanted to give these players a chance and few of them stood out.

Stephen: Who really thinks taking your shirt off warrants a yellow card? Just make the player stand on the sideline at the restart. Ridiculous rule.

Brazil fans will be thinking 'blimey, we need Neymar to provide that spark'. Tite made a number of changes in the final third. It's a defeat but they're through. They'll fancy their chances against South Korea.
