    Dion Dublin

Ghana are looking quite assured. That goal has settled them down, they're trying to play a bit and make the pitch as big as they can with Gideon Mensah right out on the touchline by his manager.

    South Korea 0-1 Ghana

    Clinton Morrison
Former Republic of Ireland striker on BBC Radio 5 Live

Ghana have been a threat from set-pieces - South Korea haven't been able to defend them. Jordan Ayew and Mohammed Kudus deliveries have been really good.

That goal has changed Group H significantly. South Korea are now bottom in the 'as it stands table'. They've still got Portugal to come on Friday.

    South Korea 0-1 Ghana

    Emma Sanders
BBC Sport at Education City Stadium

The Ghana fans are going absolutely crazy behind the goal. That was a long wait for the VAR confirmation. Andre Ayew turned to those supporters behind him afterwards and roared, fists clenched, waving his arms passionately in the air. He then breathed in deeply and Mohammed Salisu gestured to his team-mates to keep their heads.

  7. 'The party has started'published at 13:28 Greenwich Mean Time 28 November 2022

    South Korea 0-1 Ghana

    Andy Cryer
    BBC Sport in Qatar

An incredible sea of red, yellow and green rises as one in the pocket of the stadium where the majority of the Ghana fans are.

It wasn't the prettiest of goals but they don't care. The party has seriously started now...

  8. 'Completely accidental'published at 13:27 Greenwich Mean Time 28 November 2022

    South Korea 0-1 Ghana

    Dion Dublin
Former England striker on BBC One

Wow, we've seen lots of goals struck off for that. But for the good of the game, for the neutral, we don't want to see goals struck off for that. It was completely accidental.

    Was there a handball?

No, the goal will stand after a delay of about a minute.

    South Korea 0-1 Ghana

    Jonathan Pearce

Ghana lead totally against the run of play. What a lovely free-kick in, South Korea were totally discombobulated and didn't deal with it.

    Bedlam in the Ghana end.

Electric start from Korea! Quick passing, great movement, finding pockets of space everywhere. Hope they can take advantage before Ghana get themselves into the game.

    John

Where is the Ghana from the 2nd half against Portugal? They showed they’ve got the ability to be a threat yet are playing so negatively and poorly so far again here.

  14. YELLOW CARDpublished at 13:22 Greenwich Mean Time 28 November 2022

    South Korea 0-0 Ghana

It's getting lively. Daniel Amartey's arm connects with the face of Cho Gue-sung and Anthony Taylor reaches for his top pocket for the first time. You cannot get away with that.

  15. 'Kudus is the lively one'published at 13:20 Greenwich Mean Time 28 November 2022

    South Korea 0-0 Ghana

    Clinton Morrison
Former Republic of Ireland striker on BBC Radio 5 Live

That is much better from Ghana with Salis Abdul Samed and Thomas Partey getting on the ball. Mohammed Kudus too - they need to get him on the ball he is the lively one. Inaki Williams up front has hardly had any touches.

    South Korea 0-0 Ghana

    Dion Dublin
Former England striker on BBC One

Son's corners haven't been great. He keeps hitting that first man. I'm not sure if near post is the plan but he's not getting it into the heart of that defence.

Son Heung-min just went for a spectacular overhead kick and there was about half a second of the kind of noise you would expect to hear if South Korea score. The Ghana fans are still dancing away behind that goal too.

  18. Postpublished at 13:19 Greenwich Mean Time 28 November 2022

A huge roar goes up inside the stadium as Ghana venture over the halfway line with menace for the first time. Inaki Williams is chasing a long pass from his own half. He's also chasing a lost cause...
