He should bury the first effort. It's an easy opportunity. Anywhere to the side. He had time to pick his spot. Hugo Lloris stands big but he shouldn't have been given the opportunity.

Are Poland going to get any better chances than that?

It's an amazing save - Hugo Lloris just stood firm and big and strong. He made sure that ball wasn't going past him.

Piotr Zielinski is picked out in space in the box but his shot is saved by Hugo Lloris. Zielinski's rebound hits Theo Hernandez and Jakub Kaminski's follow-up is blocked too.

That first one was a huge opportunity.

From the corner, Olivier Giroud hooks a sort of bicycle kick back into the mixer and Dayot Upamecano and Wojciech Szczesny clatter into each other while going for the ball. Everyone is fine and there's no penalty shouts or cards or anything. They just got back on with it.

Seconds later, Matty Cash is left on the ground by a Kylian Mbappe side-step but his shot is deflected into the side netting.

Wojciech Szczesny has had a couple of routine saves. There's been nothing really clear-cut for the French so far.

The issue France have is that Antoine Griezmann doesn't press.
