The talk will all be about Jude Bellingham from that first half. He led the charge by playing freely and confidently right from the first whistle. I just love his energy and what he brings to the game. He's been outstanding for England so far in this tournament.

There was palpable disappointment at the Fan Park on the corniche of Dakar as England scored the third goal.

Already after the second, dozens of fans walked out in frustration.

Being three goals down and the chances of catching up slipping away, supporters look forlorn.

They’d hoped their team would be able to keep up with England and there’s disappointment in the air.

The drummers and dancers who’ve been performing at the park for the past two and a half hours are still going after a short break, but their upbeat tunes is not in sharp contrast to the mood of the rest of the supporters.

Anon: Let's not get too excited....we've only beaten Iran, Wales & Senegal. Just saying.....

We've been talking about the variety of attacking talent England have and the depth. The goals have come from all over the pitch, especially the midfield and wide areas and that's great to see.

Watch it Jude, don't sit down so hard on that chair. No, put the bib on more gently. Don't move. Don't do anything. Just stay fit.

More changes. More England players getting a break and some protection.

Eric Dier and Mason Mount replace Jude Bellingham and John Stones.

Just before this, Harry Kane was clattered by Kalidou Koulibaly, who got a yellow card for the challenge.

Jude Bellingham has worked his socks off tonight. He's just taken on an energy gel while the Senegal substitution was made. Will Gareth Southgate make a few more changes soon to rest players ahead of the apparently looming quarter-final with France? Kalvin Phillips is the only player warming up at the moment.

England have committed 10 fouls in this match, higher than their average of nine in the World Cup.

Still no cards in the tournament though.

Let's all just soak up the fact that France, the reigning world champions, will undoubtedly be concerned by the prospect of facing England.

Senegal look to find a foothold in the game but it is not happening. A free-kick beats the wall but hits the sidenetting.

They can hardly believe it, but fans here think England have done enough, and well before the half time whistle (or even the third goal).

Reacting moments after the second, Vicky Toothill says: "It’s al over. England have done it. It’s coming home."

"It’s amazing but I feel nervous, stressed and excited to see what happens for the next games to come".

Caitlin Danaher, Vicky’s friend from university who travelled from Leicester to watch the game says: "It’s in the bag."

Senegal she says are “getting taught how to play a good game. I’m feeling confident, hopeful, I’m feeling like it’s coming home."

When the second goal went in, she says she felt “absolute ecstasy. The beers were flying and the crowd were jumping."

Papa Sarr goes for another punt from long range, but he barely sends the ball a few feet - an England man in to him to block.

Dan: On current form England - France is too big a game to only be the quarter-final!

It was a bold call to leave Marcus Rashford out but some players are great at having impact and I think he falls into that category.

There are a lot of glum faces in the stands, though. Senegal came here with the Afcon trophy in their back pocket and hopes of going deep into this tournament. England have had too much for them.
