  1. Just one game remains...

It's almost all over. After 63 games just one remains, the big one as Argentina play France in the World Cup final tomorrow.

That game kicks off at 15:00 GMT with TV build up beginning at 13:50.

For now, I'll leave you with Shamoon Hafez's report on Croatia's victory against Morocco to seal third and the match highlights.

  2. Post update

Here's a reminder of the goal that sealed the win and with it third place for Croatia.

  3. Get Involved - 'Staggering for Croatia'

Tweet using #bbcfootball or text 81111 (UK only - standard rates apply)

Andrew: Croatia have appeared in x6 World Cup tournaments and in that short time have recorded a runners-up (2018) and x2 third place (1998 & 2022) finishes. Staggering for a nation of less than 4 million people.

    Croatia finish 3rd
  4. Modric's last game for Croatia?

    FT: Croatia 2-1 Morocco

    Micah Richards

Former England defender on BBC One

Before the tournament we were talking about Croatia saying it would be a bit much for them. What just let them down is not having a proper number nine when they needed it.

It's going to be sad as this could be Luka Modric's last game for Croatia.

  5. Post update

The Croatia players are receiving their third-place medals now on the pitch and there's big smiles on all of their faces.

Is this Luka Modric's last World Cup? If so it does at least end on a high.

  6. 'Croatia's hunger is just endless'

    FT: Croatia 2-1 Morocco

    Jurgen Klinsmann

Former Germany head coach on BBC One

Give Morocco a couple of days rest then they will realise they have conquered the world and showed that a north African team can go far, their first time into the final four and they can be proud.

Their last piece was lacking and today they did well but you never had the feeling they would win the game.

The quality of the players Croatia develop year after year. Their shirt represents everything, that's how the play and their hunger is just endless.

  7. Three times on the podium for Croatia

    FT: Croatia 2-1 Morocco

    .

The third-place play-off has been won by a European nation on 17 of the 20 occasions. The other wins were by Brazil (1938, 1978) and Chile (1962).

Croatia finish on the podium for the third time, after a third place in 1998 and a second place in 2018. This was their sixth World Cup participation.

Morocco finish fourth, the best result for an African nation in World Cup history.

  8. 'Great spectacle'

    FT: Croatia 2-1 Morocco

    Micah Richards

Former England defender on BBC One

It went a bit flat in the second half but then after 20 minutes it erupted. The passion, tackles, it had everything and it was a great spectacle.

  9. Post update

    Croatia 2-1 Morocco

    Andy Cryer

    BBC Sport in Qatar

A sad way for Morocco to end the tournament, as their manager and players surround the referee - furious about something.

They have been exceptional in this tournament, as have Croatia. Probably the right result this evening.

One more game left then... it's not a bad one is it?

    FT: Croatia 2-1 Morocco
  10. Post update

    Croatia 2-1 Morocco

Croatia's players race onto the pitch, celebrating as if it is the World Cup final. Morocco's players really are not happy however.

Who says the third-place play-off means nothing?

  11. FULL-TIME

    Croatia 2-1 Morocco

    That's it!

All over and Croatia, runners up four years ago, cement third place.

Morocco can be incredibly proud of their run to fourth best, however.

    FT: Croatia 2-1 Morocco
  12. 'Exceeded expectation'

    Croatia 2-1 Morocco

    Danny Murphy

Former England midfielder on BBC One

Both teams have exceeded expectation and both can leave this tournament very proud of what they achieved.

  13. CLOSE!

    Croatia 2-1 Morocco

    So close!

Youssef En-Nesyri almost snatches the equaliser as he jumps higher than Ivan Perisic to meet a cross but his header lands on the roof the net.

  14. Post update

    Croatia 2-1 Morocco

Dangerous ball into the box by Hakim Ziyech. It is only half cleared by the Croatia defence before Dominik Livakovic dives onto a cross from the left.

    Just two minutes left.

  15. Post update

    Croatia 2-1 Morocco

Croatia have the know how to see games out and although Morocco have the ball it is deep inside their own half.

  16. Post update

    Croatia 2-1 Morocco

Some hope for Morocco to take this game to extra time as the fourth official's board shows six additional minutes.

  17. Post update

    Croatia 2-1 Morocco

There's tired legs out there now for Morocco, underlined by a poor free kick by Hakim Ziyech.

A minute left, can Morocco dig deep to muster one final moment of magic?

  18. CLOSE!

    Croatia 2-1 Morocco

Mateo Kovacic has the chance to wrap this up as he break free of a defender inside the box but drags his shot wide of the far post.

  19. 'Decent watch'

    Croatia 2-1 Morocco

    Danny Murphy

Former England midfielder on BBC One

It has been a decent watch with both sides giving it a go.
