Motherwell 1-3 Rangers
Should be four for Rangers.
A superb long ball out of defence from Connor Goldson is pulled down excellently behind the defence from Fashion Sakala.
However, the striker is unable to lift his shot over Liam Kelly and the goalkeeper is able to block it clear.

Quote MessageIt's all in front of Rangers just now. Motherwell need runners in behind to create that space for the midfielders to get on it. At the moment, it just seems to be a bit more passive
Motherwell 1-3 Rangers
Despite being down to 10 men, it is still Rangers who are the more threatening.
After a good break by goalscorer Scott Wright, Borna Barisic tries a pot shot, but the left-back's effort is off target.
No signs of a late Motherwell fightback.

Both managers roll the substitutes' dice.
James Sands and Joe Aribo replace Scott Arfield and Glen Kamara in Rangers' midfield.
Forwards Kaiyne Woolery and Justin Amaluzor, plus midfielder Mark O'Hara, are on for Motherwell in place of midfielder Sean Goss, defender Bevis Mugabi and Joe Efford, who has been fairly anonymous up front.

Quote MessageRangers are causing Motherwell all sorts of problems still with 10 men. There maybe needs to be a formational change to try and get themselves back in this game somehow and be brave with it
Motherwell 1-3 Rangers
Motherwell are not out of this yet and James Tavernier has to concede a corner as he lashes clear.
From Sean Goss' fine delivery, Calvin Bassey has to head clear from under his own bar.

Quote MessageIt's a brilliant run from Fashion Sakala. When he drives into the box, I think there was a bump, but then he had a bit of clear air and Bevis Mugabi makes the challenge. I thought he won the ball then had another little go at it. Nick Walsh feels it's a penalty
James Tavernier
James Tavernier, penalty, goal. Home many times have we said that?
Rangers' captain launches his spot kick into the corner of the net to give the visitors' 10 men a two-goal breathing space.
Motherwell 1-2 Rangers
As Fashion Sakala is tackled by Bevis Mugabi.
Motherwell 1-2 Rangers
The yellow card count is mounting as Motherwell midfielder Callum Slattery pulls down Borna Barisic.
Motherwell 1-2 Rangers
Rangers substitutes John Lundstram and Joe Aribo are warming up as fellow midfielder Glen Kamara indicates he might have a problem.

Quote MessageMotherwell need to again settle into this game, get a bit of control of it. Rangers look like they're playing with 11 again

Neil McCann
Former Rangers winger on BBC Sportsound
Quote MessageHe's done this before where he shapes and takes an extra touch. It's gone through the legs of the defender. It's a really good finish from Scott Wright. Fashion Sakala - his purpose, his willingness just to shrug off the challenge. It's a really good Rangers goal
Scott Wright
Some start!
There are question marks about whether Scott Wright got the last touch for the first goal, but there's no mistake with this one.
A superb bursting run from Fashion Sakala and he sets up his fellow forward for a low drive into the far corner from the edge of the Motherwell penalty box.
Advantage Rangers' 10 men!
Motherwell 1-1 Rangers
Rangers get the second half under way needing to recover from that Leon Balogun red card and Ross Tierney equaliser.
If they don't, it will probably be curtains for their hopes of catching Celtic at the top of the Premiership table this season.

Aberdeen v Livingston (15:00)
Just a word about this afternoon's game at Pittodrie.
Livingston manager David Martindale will be missing from the touchline after spending a night in hospital.
The 47-year-old was taken in on Friday with severe abdominal pain, which has been diagnosed as kidney stones. The club say he is recovering well.
Assistant Marvin Bartley will be in charge at Pittodrie for the club's first bottom-six fixture, but the former midfielder will be in the stand as he himself is serving a touchline ban.

Quote MessageRangers started really well and had a few chances. But they are looking a bit shaky after the red card and goal - and this could be a seismic moment in the battle for the title
