That was a critical tackle, it was brilliant last-ditch defending from John Egan.

Brennan Johnson was already celebrating his second.

John Egan comes up with a HUGE block to deny Brennan Johnson.

Djed Spence skips into the box, then does wonderfully well to wrap his boot around the ball for a cut-back pass to find Johnson.

The 20-year-old hits it low and hard, but Egan is in the way.

A second change for Nottingham Forest now.

Keinan Davis is back from injury and comes on in place of Sam Surridge. Davis is one heck of a player to bring off the bench when the going is good like this.

It is looking like a long way back for Sheffield United now.

They had the better of the second half before Lolley robbed Egan of the ball and Johnson pounced.

Talk about making a big impact off the bench.

That second goal was all of Joe Lolley's making. He took the ball from John Egan deep in United's half before getting a shot off that eventually teed Johnson up.

Amongst the crowd at Bramall Lane this afternoon is Mark Labbett, one of the top quizzers from TV's The Chase.

There's plenty for the Blades to do as they 'chase' this tie now...

That's just what Forest deserve. United were ramping up the pressure on the Forest defence but the defending has kept them in the game.

And when that chance came they weren't going to miss this time.

Both sides make their first changes.

Sheffield United's George Baldock comes on to replace Oliver Norwood, while Philip Zinckernagel goes off to be replaced by Joe Lolley.

The reprieve is only momentary for Forest.

Morgan Gibbs-White fails to connect with a header in the box and Steve Cook is there behind the forward to nod the danger clear.

Forest need to start slowing things down and regroup. They're starting to show a few signs of fatigue.

A free-kick in a dangerous area has Forest back defending in number. The set-piece, however, is played short rather then being sent into the box. The resulting shot is well blocked.

Sheffield United have built up a head of steam, the fans are in the game and Forest can't get out.

Again the Blades come. This time from the left to force a corner.

The result remains the same from the set-piece, with Forest holding strong to clear.

Sheffield United are pressurising and pressurising Forest. Hopefully one of them will crack and make a mistake or the Blades will take advantage of a moment of quality.

Try as they might, Sheffield United can't get this Nottingham Forest defence to yield.

A well-worked move ends with Sander Berge whizzing a low cross into the box. There waiting is Joe Worrall, who thumps out the clearance.

To be fair Kelly, the Blades have started the second half much better.

Brice Samba deals with another Sheffield United shot from Morgan Gibbs-White before Nottingham Forest go straight on the attack at the other end.
