Forest should have scored three. It should be 3-1. They will be bitterly disappointed. Sheffield United are still in the game.

This is panning out as I feared. Forest have been exceptional but they have not had that killer instinct.

Sheffield United need to up the tempo and start creating chances because they've not been in it for the last 10 minutes.

The free-kick is dealt with, and Forest immediately try hit the hosts on the counter attack.

Brennan Johnson is bounding away on the left, drifts in and then tests Wes Foderingham with a fierce shot.

They have a corner, but Philip Zinckernagel has his hands up at the back post, as the cross may have been the better option there.

Forest are trying to slow everything down in their own half, but when they're in the Sheffield United half they're trying to do everything quick - quick throw-ins, quick free-kicks.

Nottingham Forest boss Steve Cooper made a lot of heading to Bramall Lane looking for the win.

His Reds are certainly deserving of the lead and show no signs of being content with just the one goal

A lovely, long diagonal ball gets Morgan Gibbs-White in behind Forest's defence.

The Blades forward strides into the box with the ball, but has his attempted cross plucked out of the air.

Sheffield United have been worked hard on the left.

First James Garner tries to zig-zag into space, but is stopped. Moments later, the Blades are backtracking but have themselves a goal kick to relieve the pressure.

Nottingham Forest are carving out really good chances. They will be disappointed not to have got two or three because their chances have been really good.

Nottingham Forest are stacking up the chances now.

Brennan Johnson fails to connect with an effort in the middle of the box, but the ball rolls on to find Sam Surridge. He gets off a low shot, but it lacks power and Wes Foderingham is all over it.

It's end-to-end stuff now.

Philip Zinckernagel manages to carve out some space to dig out a cross. It is one of those that borders on a shot and goalkeeper Wes Foderingham is called upon to smother the danger.

Both teams are playing really well, they have both risen to the occasion.

Sander Berge forces another corner for the hosts.

An in-swinger form right finds John Egan, and his header is cleared off the line by Sam Surridge. A huge moment, that.
