Forest manager Steve Cooper has got in there and held his players back on the pitch to make sure there is no confrontations in the tunnel. He is totally on it.

Nottingham Forest are on their way to Wembley unless Sheffield United can pull off a major, major comeback.

The away side made the brighter start but fell behind when Brennan Johnson fired in from Sam Surridge's pass.

It's all got a bit feisty since, with Blades boss Paul Heckingbottom shown a yellow card for aggressively pushing the ball into Djed Spence's chest.

Forest boss Steve Cooper keeps his players out to allow the Blades to go down the tunnel first to avoid any further aggro. Clever move.

Jack Robinson sends a long throw into the Forest area from about 50 yards away and the referee gives a free-kick to the home side.

There's so much wrestling going on in the area he could have given just about anything there.

Oli Norwood has a dip from long range for the Blades.

His strike is moving all over the place in the air but flies over the bar by a yard or so.

Or just under a metre. Whichever you'd prefer.

It's getting tetchy in the rain by the river.

John Fleck body checks goalscorer Brennan Johnson to stop him getting a challenge on the ball.

There's a few arguments going on between a few players subsequently.

I wouldn't be surprised if we start seeing some yellow cards soon.

Brennan Johnson gets away down the Forest right and sends a cross in that's just over Sam Surridge in the middle.

The Wales international was linked with some Premier League clubs in January but Forest weren't interested in selling.

One way or another Johnson is almost certain to be in the top flight next season.

That was outrageous from the Sheffield United manager, he is lucky that was only a yellow card.

Totally out of character from Paul Heckingbottom and just not needed.

  10. YELLOW CARDpublished at 38 mins

    Nott'm Forest 1-0 Sheff Utd (agg 3-1)

Sheffield United gaffer Paul Heckingbottom is the first name in the book this evening.

He was... forceful in how he gave Forest full-back Djed Spence the ball in a hint to tell him to hurry up and then just about everyone from both benches got involved.

    It's all kicking off here.

Something went on off the ball and there's a real melee with about, I dunno 30 players involved.

Game's been a bit more of a battle these past few minutes.

No onus on Nottingham Forest to force the issue now of course.

They're well on top in terms of play and scoreline just now.

What an impact Brennan Johnson has had this season.

He spent last season on loan in League One with Lincoln City, who he helped reach the play-off final.

It looks likely to be back-to-back Wembley appearances for the 20-year-old Wales international.

He's now scored in both legs of a play-off semi-final, just as dad David did against the Blades 19 years ago.

Iliman Ndiaye picks up a loose ball 20 yards out after Forest fluff a clearance.

The Frenchman curls a shot at goal but too close to Brice Samba.

Feels like the Blades need to level this game before half-time to have a chance to be honest but we'll see.

This is not good news if you are of a Forest persuasion.

Brennan Johnson is down getting some treatment. Looks like he'll be ok to carry on.

Forest midfielder James Garner sends an effort wide from 20 yards.

That goal has totally changed this game. It's like Forest have found a whole new energy source.

Sheffield United need to get their heads here.

The home side have their tails up and Sam Surridge sees a shot blocked in the area after a neat pas from Philip Zinckernagel.

Wow. It's one ball in behind and we know Forest have pace up front.

Surridge had the vision, he put it across and Johnson puts it right in the top corner. Forest have been under the cosh, then had one chance and taken it.

I'm sorry to say but that's how they were getting in time after time on Saturday. When they do it that well it's so hard to combat.
