Wycombe will find out their opponents for the League One play-off final on Monday - as Sunderland go to Sheffield Wednesday with a slender 1-0 first-leg advantage.

That one is in the balance - whoever wins that tie is sure to sell out their Wembley allocation.

It could all have been so different for MK Dons this evening, Troy Parrott's first half goal looked like it might have set them on the way to a memorable comeback.

But Wycombe had that vital two-goal lead from the first leg and they've made it count.

The Wycombe players are celebrating in front of their jubilant fans in the away end.

They've put on a defensive masterclass today and they'll be a tough nut to crack for whoever faces them on Saturday, 21 May.

It's a painful end for MK Dons, who finished third in the league - just one point below an automatic play-off spot.

But they will be playing their football in League One again next season.

What a night at Stadium MK - it's despair for MK Dons, they've given it everything tonight but Wycombe have been unbreakable in their defence.

They win 2-1 over the two legs and will face either Sunderland or Sheffield Wednesday at the home of football.

Another great run by Theo Corbeanu but Wycombe have defended so well all evening.

Troy Parrott sends a fierce drive but it's straight at David Stockdale.

Wycombe have a free-kick and the fans know it's almost over.

Scott Twine sends the free-kick over and he's fuming with himself.

It was a lovely position and he can't get it up and down.

Twine whips it in but it's defended well by the home side.

The home side are really going for it now, Connor Wickham sends a delightful ball across the box but there's no-one there to tap the ball in.

He's on the end of a painful one from Joe Jacobson and Dons win another corner from the free-kick.

Both sides making changes now as Dan Kemp comes on for Jason McCarthy, who had just been booked, for the away side.

Jack Grimmer and Tennai Watson are on for Dons.

A mad moment - Wycombe almost score just seconds after MK Dons are turned down with a penalty appeal.

Scott Twine's goalbound effort was blocked with what looked like a Wycombe defender's hand but again it would have been very harsh.

The referee waved away the appeal and David Stockdale launched the ball upfield for Sam Vokes to chase. The big striker looked to have done everything right as he ran through but couldn't get the shot away.

The away supporters are right up in the corner but you wouldn't think it - they're bouncing now.

They've cheered their players on all the way through what, at times, has been an absolute onslaught.

Dons look for Connor Wickham with their 15th corner - they've not made enough of the set plays since hitting the bar right at the start of the game and this one is no different.

MK Dons haven't looked like scoring in the last 15 minutes but the pressure's still been on and that's what they're going to be counting on.

They'll just be looking to keep Wycombe sewn into their own half and keep asking the question - that's all they can do.
