Free-kick for Wycombe out wide, with Dean Lewington penalised for a foul on David Wheeler.

Joe Jacobson swings the ball in but it's headed away by the home defence.

Dons have the ball again as they continue their search for an equaliser.

Ciaron: Connor Wickham for the winner here... "Wickham wicks Wycombe" - written in the stars.

Would be a dream for headline writers and MK Dons fans! He needs to come off the bench first, mind...

I thought that was going in the top corner.

Jamie Cumming wasn't getting there if it was on target.

Almost a Wycombe equaliser out of nowhere, they've now had two shots!

Dominic Gape lets fly from distance and you're waiting for the net to bulge - but the ball sails wide of the post.

The away side are making a change, David Wheeler is on for Daryl Horgan.

Wycombe finally get the ball forward, Joe Jacobson linking up well with Sam Vokes.

Garath McCleary looks for the ball forward but it runs out for a goal-kick.

I mentioned the shot count just then - one for Wycombe and just the 20 for Dons.

I've not talked much about Wycombe this half, simply because they haven't had the ball.

MK Dons are ahead in possession stats, shots, corners, but the important stat is at the top of this post - MK Dons 1-2 Wycombe Wanderers across the two legs.

If things stay this way, it'll be Wycombe heading to Wembley at the end of the month.

    Over from Troy Parrott.

Dons work the ball out to Daniel Harvie, who smashes it to the feet of the Irishman.

He flicks the ball up and catches it on the volley but it's hard and wide.

    A tough chance that one.

    Theo CorbeanuImage source, Rex Features

It really is hard to believe Theo Corbeanu was not in the MK Dons starting line-up for the first leg of this play-off semi-final.

The youngster has offered so much dynamism, skill and speed on the right-hand side for the hosts.

Wycombe's defenders simply haven't been able to handle him.

Thirty minutes left for the Dons to find a second and level the tie.

A brilliant save from David Stockdale to deny Theo Corbeanu.

The young Canadian darts in and out before unleashing a fierce curling shot at goal, and Stockdale makes a great save.

This is a brilliant game - such an exciting young attack against a dogged and determined defence.

    Captivating.

What a block - I'm speechless, that was an unbelievable block.

Joe Jacobson had to do it, he threw his body at the ball.

What a tackle from Joe Jacobson!

Troy Parrott looked to be through for a certain second goal after a lovely one-two with Scott Twine but the defender flies across from nowhere to block the shot.

If Wycombe can hold on then that could be a huge moment in this match.

MK Dons 1-0 Wycombe (agg: 1-2)

Kaine Kesler Hayden shoots from range for the hosts for the first time.

His effort deflects behind for the home side's eighth corner of the game.

Again it comes to nothing but again Dons are on to the second ball and putting Wycombe under pressure.

  13. 'Subs key for Wycombe'published at 19:39 British Summer Time 8 May 2022

MK Dons 1-0 Wycombe (agg: 1-2)

    Nick Freeman

I think substitutes will be key tonight for Wycombe.

The Chairboys have the likes of David Wheeler, Lewis Wing and Adebayo Akinfenwa on their bench...

MK Dons 1-0 Wycombe (agg: 1-2)

I don't think Wycombe have touched it yet, it has been a very similar story to the start of the first half.

Theo Corbeanu sends in another cross but this time it's headed away.

Wycombe can't get out at the moment.

Both teams as you were with no changes for the second half.

And straight away MK Dons are on the offensive - Theo Corbeanu whips a beautiful ball across the face of goal.

It was a tap-in if they had a player there!

  16. KICK-OFFpublished at 45 mins

The second half is under way.

Will we see a winner at full-time or could we be heading for extra-time?

A quick reminder that away goals don't count here, just the aggregate scoreline over the two legs.

Credit to Liam Manning - not only bringing Theo Corbeanu in, but where he's deployed him.

He's like a Scalextric car down that right side.

What Wycombe need to do is find out where the extra space is on the pitch - they will take heart from the fact they're still ahead in the tie.

    Penny for this man's thoughts.

Gareth Ainsworth's side still hold a one-goal advantage but MK Dons have been outstanding at times in the first half.

If it carries on like this and Dons score a second to draw the fixture level, they look the much more likely team to go on and win the match.

Will Mr Ainsworth be turning the way of a certain Adebayo Akinfenwa soon..?

    They'll really fancy themselves now.

And that's the last action of the first half at Stadium MK.

As expected, the hosts came out all guns blazing, knowing they needed to claw back a two-goal deficit from the first leg.

Dons had a lot of the ball without creating any clear-cut chances in the early stages, then got the vital breakthrough on 26 minutes through Troy Parrott's deft header.

The home side's front three of Theo Corbeanu, Scott Twine and Parrott have looked dangerous and created problems for Wycombe, who will need to step up their own attacking efforts in the second half.
