Of course, we'll be bringing you coverage of that live online and on the BBC Scotland channel from 7.30pm.

That's a massive result, a massive second-half performance. Partick will look for a response. They'll rue that miss from Alegria, and they've been punished for that. Inverness will fancy themselves as the favourites.

FT: Partick Thistle 1-2 Inverness Caledonian Thistle

Inverness striker Shane Sutherland tells BBC Scotland: "I've just gambled that the goalie was going to spill it and luckily he does. A bit of composure to not put it over the bar on this pitch.

"To turn around from that eleven-game spell where we didn't win a game is good. To go on a wee run like this is good but it's not over yet, there's another game on Friday night.

"All season [the fans] have been like that, even through that sticky spell. They've backed us and backed us and I can't thank them enough."

  5. FULL TIME Partick Thistle 1-2 Inverness Caledonian Thistlepublished at 20:58 British Summer Time 3 May 2022

Austin Samuels gives Inverness a one-goal advantage as the sides head back to the Highlands on Friday.

The hosts made the much better start to the second-half, scoring through Robbie Crawford after a superb Brian Graham pass.

But Shane Sutherland, who has been named Man of the Match, restored the deficit when he pounced on Jamie Sneddon's spill.

He then delivered the perfect ball for super-sub Samuels to slide home and give Billy Dodds' side the lead.

Austin Samuels into the book for not retreating from a Partick Thistle free-kick, just slowing the game down.

Only a minute left, can the hosts find a dramatic equaliser?

A change for Partick Thistle, with 17-goal Brian Graham going off. He's replaced by Cammy Smith.

Not to dampen the mood of any Inverness fans, but a courteous reminder that away goals do not count. Still, you'd take 2-1 wouldn't you?

WHAT A MISS FROM JUAN ALEGRIA!

David Carson tries a back-pass to his keeper and he slipped as he played it, under-hitting it.

Alegria is through on goal, one-on-one, and he curls it over the bar! A huge miss from the Colombian!

He's down on the ground, holding his knee. His pride certainly took a knock.

Brian Graham into the book, as he flings an elbow and a knee at the defender in an aerial challenge. He doesn't catch his opposite man, but it is an odd movement.

Reece McAlear then drives a blistering shot from distance but a wall of Partick bodies block the ball.

Well, Leanne Crichton called 1-1 at half-time - we'll be asking her for the Euromillions numbers, don't worry.

A couple of changes to tell you about. Juan Alegria is on for Partick Thistle, replacing Alex Jakubiak.

Caley Thistle changes too - Logan Chalmers is off, with Joe Hardy coming on. Cameron Harper is also on, replacing Billy Mckay.

    Shane Sutherland going close!

His last effort almost cleared the stand, and he couldn't keep this one down either. He did well to shuffle it onto his right foot, but he needs to do better to test Jamie Sneddon in the Partick goal.

Billy Dodds makes a change, and with it, hands out the ultimate humiliation for a footballer.

Lewis Hyde is off, having come on in the first-half for the injured Tom Walsh. Austin Samuels is the man to replace him.

It's an attacking change, but it feels harsh on the youngster.

One of the most blatant handballs you've ever seen from Kirk Broadfoot, down in the corner. Scott Tiffoney is incandescent, but Partick have just a corner.

It comes to naught, and Broadfoot escapes a booking.

    Robbie Crawford

Super goal from Partick Thistle, they make the pressure count!

Brian Graham with a beautiful reverse pass through the legs of the defender and Crawford rifles it past Mark Ridgers!

His first goal in four years and what a time to get it.

    What a save Mark Ridgers!

Partick whip a cross in from the left. Sean Welsh's clearing header deflects off Robbie Crawford and the ball drops kindly to Brian Graham, four yards out - but Ridgers is on him in a flash and stops the ball with his foot, almost slide tackling the striker.

That's the closest the hosts have come.

There's been chants of 'is this a library' from the Caley Thistle fans all evening. Well, Steven McLean has just got his book out.

This time, it's Logan Chalmers who catches Ciaran McKenna with a high foot and then crashes into him with the follow through.
