By reaching the last four of the European Under-19 Championship, England have automatically qualified for the Under-20 World Cup in Indonesia next year.

It is a competition the Three Lions know well after winning it in 2017 with the likes of Dominic Calvert-Lewis, Kyle Walker-Peters and Fikayo Tomori in the side.

The 2023 edition takes place between 20 May and 11 June.

"It’s a life-changing experience," said England boss Ian Foster.

A huge scare for Italy!

Alfie Devine is brought down right on the edge of the box by Sebastiano Desplanches who had come steaming off his line.

Free-kick says the referee who shows the keeper a yellow card.

Harvey Vale's deflected set-piece produces a fine save from Desplanches who tips it over the bar at the last moment.
