    'We are the Champions' blares out of the stadium PA system and the thousands of German fans enjoy the sing-along.

    This is the team that finished 11th in the Bundesliga and now they're going into next season's Champions League as a top seed.

    It's been an epic journey for Rangers. Incredible character, incredible nights for them. Huge victories. They rode their luck, Frankfurt probably should have had a penalty. Rangers took the lead and you thought it was written in the stars. But as soon as you start thinking that in football, it gives you a kick up the back side. I genuinely thought when it went to penalties that they were going to do it.

    You've got to feel really emotional for the Rangers fans that are crying. The players left so much on the pitch, the work-rate you wouldn't believe.

    There were so many good performances. Bassey was a giant, a superstar, incredible performance.

    The first 45 minutes flew away from the Rangers players which is understandable. They were so much better in the second half.

    I don't think Rangers played it to Ryan Kent enough.

    Eintracht were there for the beating. Maybe it was a bridge too far. It was there to be won.

    Torture. Every time you lose a cup final is torture. After the work they put in, after the fact they got better as the game went on.

    They really believed. The standard of penalties was astonishingly high except for Ramsey. He has to live with that for the rest of his life.

    What an opportunity Rangers had. They'll kick themselves. It was there to be won.

    Had they had Morelos and Roofe fit I think they'd be walking away with this trophy.
