You sometimes go a goal up and there's a worry the opposition will come back. I'm not thinking that. I'm thinking get another one. Their defence is all over the place.

  2. YELLOW CARDpublished at 63 mins

    Eintracht Frankfurt 0-1 Rangers

We're up and running again after some treatment for Almamy Toure, who was hurt in a challenge with Joe Aribo, who is the first player to be booked.

Just before that, the Germans had to replace injured defender Tuta with Makoto Hasebe.

When you're playing a game and you're the better side, and you're not getting decisions and not scoring, and then you get hit with a sucker punch? It's demoralising. It's really hard to come back from that. Rangers need to play on that fact. Frankfurt have been the better side but they're losing the game.

Eintracht want a penalty as a Jesper Lindstrom shot is blocked by Joe Aribo.

What an opportunist goal that was. Did we see it coming? Absolutely not. It just came from the centre-half making a mistake. Thank you very much says Joe Aribo. Cool as you like.

He had a lot of time to think about it. Shambolic defending. He was second favourite to get that ball. He turns on it and keeps on going. The defender just collapses. He was nowhere near the ball.

What a goal. How hard will this be now for Eintracht Frankfurt?

    Scenes.

    It's chaos. It's bedlam. It's fantastic.

Scotland have a team leading a European final. The Rangers bench are on the pitch. They don't know what to do with themselves. Giovanni van Bronckhorst punches the air and lets out a roar.

    Joe Aribo

Joe Aribo goes haring after a misjudged header from Djibril Sow and chasing defender Tuta gets in a tangle allowing the Rangers man a free run on goal.

He doesn't strike his shot cleanly but it creeps past the diving keeper.

    The Rangers fans go wild!

They've not started this second-half well at all. That is a major wake up call. Sloppy tackle from Goldson. In my book, that's a penalty. They've got away with one there.

Rangers get men forward for the first time in the second half and a terrible touch from Tuta allows Joe Aribo to slip a pass in for Ryan Kent who then slashes a horrible shot wide.

That was very concerning. I don't think Goldson got that right. I thought that was a penalty. Rangers are very lucky.

You'd be screaming for a penalty if that happened at the other end.

A head flick from Sebastian Rode sends Rafael Borre scurrying towards goal but the Colombian striker never really has the ball under control and Connor Goldson gets a foot in.

Borre goes for a roll on the turf. The referee says no penalty and so do the VAR lads.

The possession hasn't ended up in much, but at least you're not chasing the ball in this heat. You're in control, moving it from side to side. I think if Rangers get the ball in and around Ndicka's feet, he's all over the place. He doesn't want the ball.
