If we had VAR they'd be asking the referee to have another look at that.

It's not a nice challenge at all from the Solihull defender.

As McAtee played the ball just then, he was caught in the box by Kyle Storer.

Was the ref playing advantage? Did he not notice? Either way, a second penalty shout waved away for Grimsby.

Grimsby go very close.

The ball falls to Mariner John McAtee who plays the ball on to Gavan Holohan, but the midfielder's shot is blocked by a wall of yellow.

If McAtee would have bought the ball under control better, he may have had a much easier effort on goal for himself.

The rain has let up and Grimsby's supporters once again up the noise.

Solihull have had the better of the chances, Grimsby might have been given a penalty.

Max Crocombe with a fantastic reflex save.

That was better from Solihull - when they go forward they've got to get players there quicker.

And from the resulting corner, Crocombe gets a strong hand to punch the ball away.

Solid, confident goalkeeping.

WHAT A STOP!

Solihull break and it's danger man Andrew Dallas who has the ball. He uses his pace to get in the box, cuts on to his right, and unleashes a curler.

The ball deflects wickedly off Cropper and looks destined to loop in, but New Zealand international Max Crocombe somehow gets a big hand to it to keep it goalless.

Going back to that pen shout, I think Grimsby have a case you know.

Cropper creeps up behind Maycock and pinches the ball off him just as he winds up to make a clearance.

It's clearly an accidental coming together as his foot swings down, but there is a connection.

It wasn't a blatant trip on Jordan Cropper but you've seen them given.

Harry Clifton then has a go from range...

..well wide from the Grimsby man.

Penalty shout, well, half-shout.

Callum Maycock and Jordan Cropper clash in the box. Was Cropper brought down illegally there?

Ref say no and we have no VAR.

All Grimsby now. Solihull are camped in their own third.

Grimsby attack, the first for a while.

They wiggle free down the right before whipping the ball in, but Harry Clifton's volley is blocked by a wall of yellow.

The crowd responds with a thunderous cheer.

A reminder Grimsby came through two rounds of extra-time to get to this final.

Now I'm not saying their players are tired, but they are running down the clock already after just 20 minutes.

Jordan Cropper is going to earn his match fee today. The right-back is seeing a lot of action as Solihull continue to attack down the left.
