    Huddersfield have parted with head coach Danny Schofield, after a run of one win in nine to begin the Championship season.

    The former Terriers player, who made 253 appearances, only replaced departed boss Carlos Corberan - who led them to the play-off final last season, in July.

    "Everyone at the club would like to thank Danny for his hard work and dedication and wishes him the very best for the future," read a club statement.
