Patrick Roberts (39 mins)
Brilliant counter-attack and Sunderland have the lead through Patrick Roberts.
Lucas Joao tries to hold up and lay off to a teammate but the Black Cats swoop and break with Elliot Embleton stroking a perfect pass outside of his right foot into space.
Roberts with a wonderful finish, driving into the box and curling beyond Joe Lumley.
Reading 0-0 Sunderland
Sunderland have taken Ellis Simms off, the striker has had a couple of hefty challenges, is limping having gone down thrice, and will be replaced by Elliot Embleton.
It means the Black Cats are without a natural centre-forward. Pressure on Patrick Roberts and Alex Pritchard to provide some front line presence.
Luton 2-1 Coventry
Luton almost made it 3-1 just before the half-time whistle when Dan Potts headed a cross against the outside of the post.
Coventry are still in this but need a big turnaround if they want to end their winless start to the campaign.
Rotherham 1-0 Blackpool
The difference is Chiedozie Ogbene's goal for Rotherham having enjoyed a large chunk of possession and chances.
Blackpool have looked dangerous on occasions, with Jerry Yates busy, but Kenny Dougall's wide shot is their best chance so far.
Norwich 2-1 Bristol City
A Teemu Pukki double and Tommy Conway's goal just before half-time means we've got a very interesting second half coming up at Carrow Road.
Millwall 0-0 QPR
QPR have had the better of this London derby with Millwall on the whole, although the home side finished a little more competitively at the back end.
It's Rangers who have had the clearer chances though, not that they've finished any off yet.
Rotherham 1-0 Blackpool
Blackpool have a chance, and Kenny Dougall lashes his shot wide from the edge of the box.
It was a fine hit, well-struck cleanly. But wide.
Scott Hogan (14 mins)
Birmingham lead at their West Midlands neighbours.
Scott Hogan controls a through ball in the box and places it past David Button with confidence.
West Brom's indifferent start to the season continues.
Tommy Conway (45 mins)
Bristol City get the goal they deserve on the stroke of half-time.
Nahki Wells sends an excellent cross in from the left and Tommy Conway heads in from a few yards.
Reading 0-0 Sunderland
Sunderland are already without injured striker Ross Stewart and Everton loanee Ellis Simms is limping now too.
Concern for the visitors from a goals perspective.
Norwich 2-0 Bristol City
Bristol City have been in good form themselves but it's just not going their way so far.
Mark Sykes hits a shot well over the bar and shortly after Kal Naismith's curling effort is collected by Tim Krul.
Reading 0-0 Sunderland
Ellis Simms tries to outpace Sam Hutchinson for Sunderland as Reading backpedal.
It's a lively footrace, but the home defender shows good strength to deny a shooting opportunity at the expense of a corner - which comes to little.
Millwall 0-0 QPR
Speculative effort from QPR forward Ilias Chair, but it's straight at Millwall goalkeeper Bartosz Bialkowski, who takes the sting out of it with his palms before gathering.
Chiedozie Ogbene (34 mins)
Rotherham get a goal they deserve as Richard Wood heads a free-kick into the box up into the air trying to ease it toward goal, and Chiedozie Ogbene reacts quicker than the defence to the loose ball to guide his header in past Dan Grimshaw.
West Brom 0-0 Birmingham
Birmingham get an early chance at The Hawthorns.
The ball falls to Troy Deeney in the box but his effort goes wide.
Reading 0-0 Sunderland
Confident surge forward by Patrick Roberts sees the Sunderland man charge into the box but his cross is blocked for a corner.
Alex Pritchard rolls a clever set-piece into Dan Neil who arrives late in the box, but his touch is heavy and the Royals shepherd it behind for a goal-kick.
West Brom 0-0 Birmingham
After a 15-minute delay due to congestion and tributes paid to Queen Elizabeth II this West Midlands derby gets under way.
It's neither club's fiercest rivals but we can still expect a keenly contested match with local bragging rights at stake.

QPR winger Ilias Chair tries to drag the Millwall defence out to create some space but Charlie Cresswell sticks to him tightly and blocks for a corner.
The set-piece causes few problems.
Norwich 2-0 Bristol City
Bristol City almost pull one back.
Nahki Wells' effort from the centre of the box is blocked by Andrew Omobamidele and Jay Dasilva's follow-up is cleared by Max Aarons.
Dedicated defending from the pair.
