We are back under way.

It was a very enjoyable first-half.

No team has conceded more goals in the second-half of games in the Championship than Bristol City this season, so the visitors have hope.

They've had a bit more energy Bristol City, they've been on the front foot a little bit more and they have stopped Cardiff City to a large extent from playing.

When Cardiff City have been able to break that press they have looked dangerous and created one or two chances.

The hosts ahead, probably deservedly, at the break thanks to Tommy Conway's header.

Andreas Weimann came within a whisker of making it 2-0 when he rattled the bar, while Cardiff went behind just moments after Max Watters missed a golden chance to put them ahead.

Now Cardiff have a goal (rightly) ruled out.

Callum O'Dowda flashes in a perfect cross, but Sheyi Ojo is just, just offside as he taps-in.

Still 1-0.

Cardiff soaked up lots of pressure, looked to be getting a foothold into the game, then went behind.

How will they respond?

Cardiff much more positive now.

Suddenly it is the hosts who probably would welcome half-time.

Cedric Kipre is the latest player to go close as he leads a charge after winning the ball, but he hits the side-netting.

So positive.

Cedric Kipre sends a ball over the top and Max Watters is clear, he tries to lob Daniel Bentley, but it flicks off his shoulder and onto the top of the crossbar.

Brilliant run by Watters, but he could not match it with the finish.

Bristol City try the old Darren Anderton to Teddy Sheringham corner routine, it does not work and Han-Noah Massengo goes into the book for halting a potential Cardiff counter-attack.

Better from Cardiff City in the last three or four minutes, they have just stepped their game up a little bit and applied a little bit of pressure on Bristol City.

A first sniff at goal for Cardiff.

Romaine Sawyers finds some space and his near-post cross is deflected by Daniel Bentley onto the post.

Looking at the midfield area for Cardiff, they would be better off playing with a one and a two, one sitting and two in front.

It's almost like a two and a one at the minute and it is causing issues.

Bristol City deal easily with a couple of Cardiff corners.

Better from Cardiff, but they look a little toothless in attack.

Cardiff finally get Callum O'Dowda into some space and he wins a corner.... which leads to another corner.

Bristol City continue to be positive and probe for an opener.

They are ahead on possession, shots, all measures, other than goals.

Han-Noah Massengo, Joe Williams and Alex Scott are dominating the midfield battle at the moment, Bristol City have a man advantage with Romaine Sawyers playing higher.

One or two alarming signs for Cardiff City, particularly in that midfield area they are not winning enough battles.

Cardiff City were a pushover, at times last season.

Cardiff City are not a pushover anymore.

They just cleared their lines after Mahlon Romeo gave the ball away.

It was desperate defending, with Joe Williams scuffing his shot.
