The fall out from the game at the Bridge has rumbled through this week.

Both managers were charged by the FA, VAR official Mike Dean has admitted an error in not asking referee Anthony Taylor to check his pitchside monitor after Cristian Romero's hair-pull on Marc Cucurella and there were reports that Spurs' Son Heung-min was racially abused.

Conte will be on touchline today, though, with the FA deciding on a £15,000 fine for the Italian.

  5. The handshakepublished at 11:17 British Summer Time 20 August 2022

Last Sunday's game between Chelsea and Tottenham was a feisty old affair. And it ratcheted up another gear of feistiness at full time, when a simple handshake led to Conte and opposite number Thomas Tuchel squaring up and shouting in each others' face before everyone else piled in to push and shove.

It was angry, it was petty, it was unnecessary... it was also absolutely brilliant.

If you don't like watching two adult men acting like children in front of a stadium of people, are you even a football fan?

As for the two managers, maybe they could write some love poetry to each other? That appears to be a thing football people do. Is there a toastie maker brand that rhymes with Tuchel?
