Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp will be fuming at the conclusion to that half. His team had worked so hard to get back into the game and get deservedly level, so to get hit on the counter from the edge of the opposition penalty in the dying seconds of the half is pretty much unforgivable.

Tom: Whatever happens in 2nd half one thing is clear, Liverpool are definitely fighting for top 4 this season and nowhere near the top 3 in the league.

Adam: How many times do Liverpool dominate but lose games? Crazy.

The 49 minutes between Arsenal's goals is the longest gap between goals in the first half for Arsenal in the Premier League era.

There really is a stat for everything these days.

Arsenal very much doing their business at both ends of the half there.

Their opener was after 58 seconds and their second goal came after 49 minutes and 43 seconds.

Fulham boss Marco Silva to Sky Sports: "It is unbelievable how [Michail] Antonio is able to play the ball with his hand for the third goal. That is difficult for the referee because I couldn't see either. We took a risk at that point to play with heart but until the penalty, the way we started which was really good, we were the best team on the pitch definitely.

"After the penalty and some moments in the second half, we have to show maturity. I have just told my players that. We have to learn from these moments. More maturity today and we'd have won the game.

"Gianluca Scamacca didn't celebrate [for the second goal] because it was clear he thought it was handball.

"[Aleksandar] Mitrovic is really important for us but I don't want to just talk about him because it was more than just him missing today."
