Sam: You know Arsenal are actually looking decent & mean business when they get a result vs Liverpool the team which they usually crumble against despite controversial pen.
Jaysal: Stop blaming VAR. It does it’s job by showing the images/video. We can clearly see what’s happened. If anything blame the VAR official. Whether you like it or not, VAR is here to stay. Sadly, the VAR officials are the same bad refs that prompted 4 need of the tech.
Anon: How on EARTH was Gabriel Jesus allowed to stay on the pitch? He was flat out with a blow to the head for 4 mins. He was never even examined off the pitch. What an utter disgrace. Football needs to have a very hard look at itself. All the retrospective concern over head injuries and their long term effects including features on your network and then this. No one has even mentioned it this afternoon. He stayed on in the name of winning and entertainment. Shameful. Shameful.
Ed: Even if Arsenal don't win the league, the team has improved, Arteta's coaching has come a loooong way and I'm very excited for the future.

Speaking to Sky Sports, Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta said: "There were a lot of moments and the threat they have they can open you up, but we showed a lot of composure and character."
On Gabriel Martinelli's opening goal: "It was the best way to start because of the belief it generates in the stadium, so we're really happy.
"We could not get out [before half-time] because we were not good in our build up and to play the ball inside is very difficult. We started to lose some duels and we needed to hang in there to get to half time."
On his half-time team talk: "It was lively but we wanted to give confidence and tell them the game was there for the taking. [In the second-half] the organisation was better, the timing of the press, we won every second ball.
"I was really happy. You are always in doubt with the changes and how many players they were putting on or last lie but the players dealt with it with a lot of maturity and composure."
On Martinelli: "When you see where he is a year ago from when he played against Brentford to where he is today is phenomenal but it is his desire to train hard every day. It is a nightmare to play against him and we know we have a real threat up front."
On Bukayo Saka's winning penalty: "He practices every day but it's different in training when we put him under pressure to here today but credit to the boy, especially with what happened a year ago."

That result from the Emirates gives Everton a pretty big incentive to win this evening.
Victory for Frank Lampard's side will take them above Manchester United and up to seventh.
It will also take them above Liverpool and drop Jurgen Klopp's men into the bottom half of the table.

Liverpool
Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp, speaking to BBC Sport: "We created, we were really dangerous, we scored our goal, wonderful goal. Then concede last second of the first half. Obviously we made a mistake, counter attack is the goal. That is our situation, getting to half time knowing we were good in the game but ignoring the result.
"We wanted to carry on the good stuff but unfortunately we didn't do that. We equalised, it was a really open game then. The situation around the penalty of course we should have cleared it. Now I saw it and I think you can imagine I don't think it is a clear penalty, it is a very soft one. I think it is a situation where the referee have another look at it in real time.
"Couple of things went against us but we are not blind, we see we could have done better in moments. In general it was a good away game against a good side. We caused them a lot of problems but stand here with no points."
On taking off Trent Alexander-Arnold: "He is injured unfortunately. Like Luis Diaz as well, it doesn't look good for both. That is the icing on the cake..."
More on the game: "Arsenal are doing really well and in the situation I think we played a good game. Conceding the three goals, it had nothing to do with the game really. We have to win challenges in these moments. They should not get in these situations but it happened.
"I saw a team with the right attitude and put in a proper fight and play football and first half we did but in the second half I didn't see these football moments as much.
"I think the game is a draw but today we have nothing."

BBC football expert
Everton were not at their best against Southampton last time out but they still got the win and I see some really good signs when I watch Frank Lampard's side.
They don't concede many goals - seven in eight league matches, which is the best defensive record in the top flight - and that means they are always in the game even though they don't create many chances.
Manchester United looked shell-shocked at times during last weekend's Manchester derby but City can do that to anyone, and I still think United have made some progress under Erik ten Hag in the past few weeks.
I never thought they had cracked it after those four wins on the bounce between August and September. Similarly, I don't think they are in crisis just because a team as good as City took them apart - they are somewhere in between.
I am expecting Everton to be quite ferocious in the way they attack United, especially under the lights at Goodison Park, but I am thinking the points are going to be shared.
Prediction: 1-1
Everton v Man Utd (19:00 BST)
Manchester United have lost eight of their past 10 Premier League away fixtures.
The Red Devils scored as many goals in their 6-3 defeat against Manchester City last time out as they had in their previous eight away league games combined.
They could lose more than three of their opening eight matches of a league season for the first time since 1989.

Arsenal forward Bukayo Saka said: "In the past two or three years, Liverpool have been a team we have struggled against. To win in front of our fans is special and it shows how much we are progressing.
"It gives us more confidence because they are a fantastic team and we have a lot of respect for them. I feel like we deserved to lead at half-time so to get that goal was crucial. I want to score more now."
On his winning penalty: "I had what I was going to do in my mind and I stuck with it."

Speaking to Sky Sports, Arsenal forward Gabriel Martinelli said: "It means a lot for us. We have been working hard and we deserve the win and we need to keep going because the season is long and we want to achieve good things. We are running for each other and we are a family, everyone is on their toes and we deserved the win.
"It doesn't matter your age, it's your heart and how much you want to achieve in football and life. That is the most important thing. We need to believe and go game by game trying to win all of them."
