Really surprised at how Arsenal have taken their foot off the gas. It seems like the game has been too easy for them and they have dropped their standards.

McGinn should play deeper in my opinion, he has got caught up trying to play number 10.

I thought he was better joining in attacks. He is a creative, tough-tackling, all-round midfielder.

    Bobby Decordova-Reid

Oh dear, it's that sinking feeling for Jesse Marsch.

The corner is headed clear but Fulham work it back wide towards Andreas Pereira, whose right-wing cross is glanced inside the far post by the head of an unmarked Bobby Decordova-Reid.

As soon as Villa have put Brentford under pressure. When they've gone after them they've given the ball away in poor areas and the hosts have gone on to attack.

David Payn: Last week someone who clearly hadn't been watching James Maddison this season, suggested that the clamour for his international inclusion recedes after the final whistle, this after one bad game. He should be on the plane.

The games are coming thick and fast for Tottenham, who are in Champions League action on Wednesday at home to Sporting Lisbon.

Antonio Conte makes FIVE changes to the side that started the 2-0 defeat at Manchester United last Wednesday.

In come Oliver Skipp, Davinson Sanchez, Emerson Royal, Ryan Sessegnon and Clement Lenglet. It is Skipp's first Premier League start of the season.

Just the one change for Newcastle, who will climb into the top four with a win.

Former Arsenal midfielder Joe Willock comes in for Jacob Murphy, who is on the bench.

Ex-Tottenham defender Kieran Trippier wears the captain's armband.

Newcastle XI: Pope, Trippier, Schar, Botman, Burn, Longstaff, Bruno Guimaraes, Willock, Almiron, Wilson, Joelinton.

Patrick Bamford almost makes an instant impact off the bench as he gets a clear sight of goal but Bernd Leno rushes out to block the Leeds striker's low shot.

    Aston Villa 4-0 Brentford

    Stephen Kelly
Former Tottenham defender on BBC Radio 5 Extra

Brentford started the second half well, they came out, changed the system and they were in the position of trying to win the second half.

That'd gone out the window. Villa have been dominant.

  15. Maddison presses England claims again as Wolves fans chant for technical director to 'get out of our club'published at 15:27 British Summer Time 23 October 2022

    Wolves 0-3 Leicester

    Michael Emons
    BBC Sport at Molineux

Three shots, three on target, three goals. This one is a lovely finish from James Maddison, striking hard and low from the edge of the penalty area to give Leicester, somehow, a 3-0 lead.

He's doing all he can to get himself in England's squad for the World Cup.

But the mood is turning at Wolves among the home fans. Before that goal went in, there were chants aimed, not at interim head coach Steve Davis, but technical director Scott Sellars.

"We want Sellars out" and "Scott Sellars, get out of our club" are two of the chants.

Wolves three down, Leicester in dreamland and heading for three points. Twenty minutes left.

Saints' Romain Perraud volleys well wide from 20 yards. Their tails are up now though. Can Arsenal turn the momentum around here?

  17. Postpublished at 15:25 British Summer Time 23 October 2022

    Leeds 1-1 Fulham

    Phil Dawkes
    BBC Sport at Elland Road

A mixed reaction to the Leeds subs.

Patrick Bamford's introduction gets roared to the rafters. But the decision to take off Luis Sinisterra and send on Crysencio Summerville courted some boos.

It was taking off Sinisterra at Leicester that prompted the travelling Leeds fans to give Marsch some stick and sing for Marcelo Bielsa.

    Southampton 1-1 Arsenal

    Steve Sidwell
Former Brighton midfielder on BBC Radio 5 Live

Probably one of the first times that Southampton have broken with a belief and intensity that they can get a shot off against Ramsdale. It's a lovely slick ball and Armstrong fires just across Ramsdale. They literally cut Arsenal to shred there with, fast paced, good counter attacking football.

  19. DOUBLE SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 15:24 British Summer Time 23 October 2022

    Leeds 1-1 Fulham

It's a double change as Leeds look to go for a winner, with Rodrigo and Luis Sinisterra making way for Patrick Bamford and Crysencio Summerville.

  20. goal

GOAL - Southampton 1-1 Arsenalpublished at 15:23 British Summer Time 23 October 2022

    Stuart Armstrong (65 mins)

Nice goal by Southampton and they are level.

They cut through Arsenal's defence with ease, working it out to Mohamed Elyounoussi on the right and he plays a nice reverse-ball into Stuart Armstrong, who strokes the ball past Aaron Ramsdale from inside the box.
