It was a little bit of luck that it ricocheted against Rashford so it had to be disallowed. He hasn't half made a difference since coming on. You cannot deny that was off his hand and into the back of the net.

A very quick assessment. The goal is ruled out.

Marcus Rashford showed great desire to get past his marker in the box. His chipped shot is saved by Jose Sa but deflects back off the forward and into the unguarded net. It is clear that Rashford's arm was involved to steer the ball in, though,

The stoppages in this half mean Wolves are likely to have a fair bit longer than the eight minutes we have left of normal time.

That was Marcus Rashford's sixth goal of the season.

Manchester United have avoided defeat in their last 23 matches when scoring the opening goal in the English Premier League dating back to 16th October 2021 against Leicester City (L2-4).

That is a mighty big goal for Manchester United.

It was always likely that this would be a tight game. And with Wolves' clear issues with scoring, going behind was always going to be a big blow to them.

Brilliant from Rashford and that was a player at the top of his game. Just his drive and movement and touches and strength to eventually get the shot away. He started the move and then he held off the defenders and that was a terrific finish.
