  1. Booked Sands and Loturi withdrawnpublished at 16:08 British Summer Time 27 August 2022

    Rangers 2-0 Ross County

Both sides have made a change at half-time, with the team bosses obviously concerned about second yellow cards being dished out.

James Sands, who was fortune not to see red in the first half, is replaced with 18-year-old Leon King at the heart of the Rangers defence.

Meanwhile, Jordan Tillson has replaced fellow Englishman Victor Loturi in the County midfield.

  2. CLOSE!published at 16:08 British Summer Time 27 August 2022

    Kilmarnock 0-1 Motherwell

Kilmarnock start the second half the way they ended the first. Daniel Armstrong breaks free on the edge of the box, and rasps a left-foot drive narrowly wide.

  9. HALF-TIME Kilmarnock 0-1 Motherwellpublished at 15:55 British Summer Time 27 August 2022

Stevie Hammell is on course for another victory as Motherwell manager.

Kevin van Veen's smartly taken effort separates the teams after he galloped on to an incisive Blair Spittal through ball. The Dutchman is up to four goals for the season already.

Kilmarnock were rocked by the opener, but have rallied since. Kyle Lafferty spurned two big opportunities, while debutant Ben Chrisene rattled one off the bar.

It's delicately poised at the break.

  10. HALF-TIME St Mirren 1-0 Hibernianpublished at 15:50 British Summer Time 27 August 2022

Keanu Baccus' early goal remains the difference in Paisley.

It has been an open game, and an often feisty one. But what will disappoint Hibs manager Lee Johnson is that they haven't really worked the goalkeeper.

  11. HALF-TIME Aberdeen 1-0 Livingstonpublished at 15:50 British Summer Time 27 August 2022

Another red card for Livingston, and yet again it threatens to derail their afternoon after a decent first half - albeit without a goal.

David Martindale's side started well, with Stephane Omeonga and Joel Nouble really impressing for the visitors.

Aberdeen came back into it, but the goal was all Livingston's own doing. Shamal George playing a slack pass out from the goal-kick and Jack Fitzwater was unaware of Vicente Besuijen's presence.

The midfielder nicked it from his toes, with Fitzwater hauling him down. Red card and penalty, and Bojan Miovski comfortably converted.

  12. HALF-TIME Rangers 2-0 Ross Countypublished at 15:49 British Summer Time 27 August 2022

Rangers are looking inspired by their midweek progress to the Champions League group stage and are well on their way to the top of the table with what is probably their best league performance of the season.

Goals from John Lundstram and Antonio Colak - and it could have been more - although County will no doubt point to what could have been a second yellow card for home centre-back James Sands as a turning point.

  13. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 15:49 British Summer Time 27 August 2022

    Rangers 2-0 Ross County

James Tavernier has obviously been taking tips from team-mate Malik Tillman as he heads against the crossbar at the back post.

Tillman has scored a couple with amazing leaps and the right-back does likewise to meet a Ryan Kent cross to the back post and is unlucky not to make it 3-0.

  14. Postpublished at 15:48 British Summer Time 27 August 2022

    St Mirren 1-0 Hibernian

Hibs are putting a lot of pressure on towards the end of the first half but they're struggling to get a clear shot at goal to test goalkeeper Trevor Carson.

GOAL Aberdeen 1-0 Livingstonpublished at 15:44 British Summer Time 27 August 2022

    Bojan Miovski, penalty

Another goal for Aberdeen's new number nine, who confidently slots his penalty down the middle.

Shamal George in the Livingston goal did everything he could to delay the goal, but it didn't faze the North Macedonian.

  19. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 15:42 British Summer Time 27 August 2022

    Kilmarnock 0-0 Motherwell

    Kilmarnock should be level!

A beautiful flowing move tees up Ben Chrisene down the left, and the debutant cracks a vicious effort off the underside of the bar.

The rebound falls for Kyle Lafferty, but he can't convert.

  20. PENALTY FOR ABERDEEN, RED CARD FOR LIVINGSTONpublished at 15:42 British Summer Time 27 August 2022

    Aberdeen 0-0 Livingston

    Disaster for Livingston!

A short goal kick is played to Jack Fitzwater, he has his pocket picked by Vicente Besuijen and the defender hauls him down.

Fitzwater is sent off and the Dons have a spot-kick.
