    Tom Lawrence is a huge loss, he's impacted the team early in his Rangers career. It's allowed Giovanni van Bronckhorst to go back to a recognised system, a midfield three. It will be an intriguing affair. It's the start of a huge week for both clubs - an Old Firm derby and Champions League football. It doesn't get any better.

    That's probably the strongest team Ange Postecoglou could put out. There might be an argument about Starfelt or Jenz. Celtic are playing exceptionally well, they kept the intensity up midweek. They don't take their foot off the throttle. I'd expect that intensity today. they are the favourites.

    There were five league and cup meetings in 2021-22, with each side claiming two wins, while their most recent encounter was a draw.

    A Filip Helander header settled the first game at Ibrox, then Celtic turned on the style to win 3-0 at their patch in February.

    A pivotal 2-1 victory for Celtic at Ibrox came in early April, quickly followed by Rangers' extra-time success in the Scottish Cup semi-final.

    The last encounter was a must-win for Rangers but Celtic maintained their six-point lead in a 1-1 draw on 1 May.

    The big two have long had a big advantage over the rest in Scotland, given their huge support and financial clout.

    No team outside the Old Firm has won the title since 1985 when Sir Alex Ferguson was working his magic at Aberdeen.

    The Glasgow giants have been steamrollering others with even greater frequency of late, so it cranks up the pressure further in what are always high stakes derbies.

    Celtic are unbeaten in 37 league games and Dundee United are the only side other than Celtic to beat Rangers in their last 81 league fixtures.
