Chelsea in control against the 10 men of Milan, who had Fikayo Tomori sent off.

  7. Postpublished at 45+4 mins

    AC Milan 0-2 Chelsea

Matteo Gabbia is a lucky, lucky boy.

Already on a yellow card, he lunges in on Reece James and brings down the Chelsea full-back.

That's the clearest foul of the whole half but this time the referee keeps his cards in his pocket.

Very muddled performance from the man in the middle tonight.

  8. Postpublished at 45+3 mins

After a period of Chelsea passing, Mateo Kovacic almost picks out the run of Mason Mount in the box but Pierre Kalulu is across to intercept.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has scored in consecutive Champions League appearances for the first time since December 2017 (for Borussia Dortmund).

  18. 'Aubameyang pounced'published at 20:39 British Summer Time 11 October 2022

    AC Milan 0-2 Chelsea

    Rob Green
Former England goalkeeper on BBC Radio 5 Live

    It's a fantastic one-touch finish.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has barely had a touch in the game but it's wonderful one-touch football to cut apart Milan.

Milan are trying to apply pressure but it's leaving spaces all over the pitch. It's a clever lay off by Mason Mount. I think it was meant for Raheem Sterling but Aubameyang pounced.

He slams it in the corner and Chelsea are in complete control.
