Rangers start to stitch a few passes together in the midfield with Ilias Chair, Stefan Johansen and Osman Kakay all involved, eventually forcing a corner.
Again it's easily dealt with before Reading get the ball forward to Lucas Joao, who is fouled by Jake Clarke-Salter. Jeff Hendrick and Andy Carroll looking at this.

Jimmy Dunne loses the ball in his own half and Nesta Guinness-Walker dances past him before being taken down by Tim Iroegbunam, who takes the yellow card.
The free-kick is poor though and the home side get on the ball for their first meaningful period of the second half.

Andy Carroll takes down a long ball and is fouled by Sam Field, who goes straight through him.
It's lifted in by Nesta Guinness-Walker and the ball finds it's way over to Carroll, but eventually it bobbles out for a goal kick.

But the ball is back with Reading and they go again, polar opposite to the start of the first half.

Positive start from Reading as they knock the ball around the front players.
Nesta Guinness-Walker launches a couple of long throw-ins looking for the big front players and the second finds Lucas Joao, who outmuscles the QPR defenders to get his head on it and send it over the top of the bar.
Guinness-Walker throws in another and this time Andy Carroll gets his head on it but the Hoops get it away.
Rangers can't get out at the moment.

QPR weren't given one when the ball struck the hand of Sam Hutchinson inside the box, but Reading did get a spot-kick for a challenge on Lucas Joao by Tim Iroegbunam.

Some interesting news coming from the north east for you now.
Middlesbrough are keen to speak to former England and Manchester United midfielder Michael Carrick about their vacant manager's job.
Boro sacked Chris Wilder on 3 October, with the club 22nd in the Championship.
Goalkeeping coach Leo Percovich is in temporary charge and secured a win over Birmingham at the Riverside Stadium on Wednesday.
However, Carrick is on owner Steve Gibson's radar as a potential candidate to take the job permanently.

Elsewhere today, Hull City say they have been "unable to reach a mutually agreeable position" with Pedro Martins over becoming head coach and have cancelled negotiations.
The Portuguese had been in talks with the Championship club all week and sat with owner Acun Ilicali for their home win over Wigan on Wednesday.
Hull sacked Shota Arveladze ahead of their 2-0 defeat by Luton last Friday.
"Pedro is a great coach but we didn't feel we were able to meet his demands," Ilicali told the club's website.
The Tigers face Huddersfield at the John Smith's Stadium on Sunday.

I enjoyed that.
QPR had large spells of possession and kept the ball for long periods, but they've only had two shots on target.
Reading do defend well as a team and do look quite threatening, certainly aerially.

They will be happy that they got back into the game so quickly after Reading scored that penalty.
1-1 at half-time though - the visitors will take that.

The referee blows up to end an entertaining first half at Loftus Road.
Rangers made the stronger start, controlling the ball and the tempo of the game.
Tyler Roberts brought a fine save out of Seny Dieng in the Reading goal as the hosts looked for the opener.
The hosts were calling for a penalty when Tim Iroegbunam's header struck the arm of Sam Hutchinson in the Reading box for what looked like a clear spot kick.
But it was the Royals who got their chance from the spot on the half-hour mark, as Lucas Joao went down under a clumsy challenge from Iroegbunam and Andy Carroll calmly dispatched the penalty.
QPR were level three minutes later through Lyndon Dykes' header.

Reading turned the ball over in the QPR half through great pressure from Tyrese Fornah and Lucas Joao, who exchanged passes before Joao went down to win the penalty.
Andy Carroll stepped up to score before Lyndon Dykes equalised just three minutes later.
Sam Hutchinson won't play any more of this match, he becomes the second casualty after Ethan Laird, who went off with a hamstring injury earlier for QPR.
Junior Hoilett is on for the Royals.
