There's a decent crowd in here today, in fact the stand opposite the press box, where the dug outs are, is actually open. Sometimes when I've been here previously it's been closed.

It's great to see the WSL attracting good crowds. However, I appear to have chosen a seat in the press box which is right next to a group of fans absolutely hammering on a massive drum.

Ear plugs, anyone?

Both sets of players come together to show solidarity with players in the United States' top-flight National Women's Soccer League.

This weekends' fixtures are the first league games to be played since an independent investigation found abuse "had become systemic" in the NWSL.

Liverpool travel to North London for their first away game since being promoted back to the top flight.
